In general, the 1602 uses a standard 16-pin interface, and our display module is a module that provides I2C functionality.



I²C uses only two bidirectional open-drain lines, Serial Data Line (SDA) and Serial Clock Line (SCL), pulled up with resistors. Typical voltages used are +5 V or +3.3 V although systems with other voltages are permitted.



It can be operated as long as it supports the I2C development board. For example, the common Arduino, raspberry pi, Stm32 and so on.

Answer: I downloaded the JBL Connect app yesterday and walked through the tutorial. For JBL Connector to work you need to press the Connect button on each speaker to pair them. There is no Connect button on the JBL Horizon. I would guess the answer to your question is no. Also I unfortunately don't have another JBL Connect product that could pair so I can't be certain.

When I set the alarm to go off with the radio , I could snooze the alarm but I couldn't shut off the alarm as they've instructed. I had to return it. Everything else worked fine except for shutting off the alarm when it was set to the radio.

Question: Why the resolution appears to be 128x32, not 128x64?

Answer: When you use 128x64 pixel display, you should comment the default display type #define SSD1306_128_32 and uncomment #define SSD1306_128_64 at line 73 and 74 of the driver header file Adafruit_SSD1306.h. Then the 128x64 pixel can be displayed normally.

Question: The description says ili9481 but the specs say hx8357c. what will i receive if ordered
Answer: No. The HiLetgo website has the same product information as the text here at Amazon. This isn't good because some features of these displays do vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. This is very irritating because we need to know things like whether a resistor is included on the LED power line or not and how much power it draws. Yes, you could use some other manufacturer's information but then you are forced to assume that this one is the same. Thumbs down to HiLetgo for this.
Question: This board doesn't seem to have the rdx signal to allow a register read. is there any way to put it into sleep or deep standby without the rdx pin

Question: How do I connect other sensors/buttons to the Mega if this shield covers the entire Mega board
Answer: You need something to drive it like an Arduino uno. then you just program it.

Answer: It appears the libraries are already installed in the IDE. I used LCD.h and LiquidCrystal_I2C.h with an address of 0x27

Answer: No this only supports display of regular characters.

Answer: The short answer is no. The display is SPI but an I2c module is attached and connected through header pins which you would have to remove drive via SPI.

Question: can i power it with a usb battery pack? basically, i want to connect it to my DSLR as an ext monitor
Answer: I measured about 44-45 mA with a DMM in the display Vcc line. However, it is a digital load that may fluctuate faster than the DMM can read it. It doesn't seem very power hungry. A set of 8 old 2200 mAh niMH batteries runs this display, an Arduino UNO, a DS3231 RTC, and a PMS5003 AQI sensor for a long time. I don't know how long, but more than I need at one time! In a few weeks of use, I have found absolutely nothing to dislike about this display, and much to like, especially how well it works! Just be sure to use the PCF8574.h library. I tried other libraries with frustrating results.
Question: Will this display hdmi input without any raspi/usb connection? can i use this as a simple hdmi monitor without touch
Answer: This device will work with Arduino but it has an I2C interface so you don't use the LiquidCrystal library. You have to use something like the LiquidCrystal_PCF8574 library. There are several other libraries that support LCD displays with I2C interfaces but the one I have used is the above and it works fine.

How to Install Driver to Get Touchscreen Work?

Online installation (Raspberry Pi need to be connected to the Internet)

1)Log onto the Raspberry Pi by Putty SSH (User: pi; Password: raspberry)

2)Download the driver from github then execute the following command

chmod -R 755 LCD-show

cd LCD-show/

sudo ./LCD5-show

3) Wait for a moment after executing, then you can use the corresponding Raspberry LCD.

Display Issues?

When you test the item and find the screen appear to be blank white, white line, black screen, no touch function and flashing etc?

Please modify the config.txt to adjust the output resolution. Details refer to user manual.
