Answer:	These packs come with 2 mats. I write with permanent marker when I start using mine with the date at the top of it. My last set I used for about 4-5 months. I do anywhere from 20 - 100 sheets of paper per week, depending on my orders. I use with cardstock, paper, vinyl, projector film sheets. I use one side for printed mark cut outs and spin top to bottom for solid sheets. (so I'm using every inch lol) I use these with my silhouette machine because they are really sturdy. When the mat starts to lose its stickiness I run under water with a tiny bit of soap, use my hand to lightly scrub clean, rinse and let dry. I love these mats! I have been using circuit mats for about 2 1/2 years
Question:	Does this product include the top cover (has design) as well as the bottom cover
Answer:	I have had mixed results using this mat with my Silhouette Cameo. It is fine for print and cut, but I had a cut file that went to the edges of the 12x12 paper, and it did not cut correctly on this mat- it cut about 1/4 above the top edge of the paper. These mats are a lot cheaper than Silhouette mats, but I won't be using them for anything but print and cut projects.

Answer:	I just cut a project that required 27 pages of cardstock, and I had already used the mat to cut 5 pieces of cardstock. It was all 110lb Neenah Exact Index if that matters. I adjusted the material settings so that it cut thoroughly through the paper, but only scratched the mat. The mat is still in great condition - the pages are still sticking just fine. I haven't had any issues with shifting yet.

Answer:	I don't think that these will work with the Scan N Cut. There seems to be some type of registration on the SNC mat. If the machine doesn't see the registration, it will not recognize the mat. I wish that it would. The price is great.

Answer:	I did a bit more research and it looks like you can use this for your machine as long as it for paper and not fondant. This one is better for card stock. I would go for the light grip 12x12 if you are using light weight paper.

Answer:	I know this is an older question back in 2014. I just purchased my Mat set, it arrived in excellent condition, brand new. MAT's STINK ! I have never smelled Mats so strong, ever! I used my GREEN one 3x's and couldn't deal with it. I have them all hanging in my laundry room near a opened window trying to air them out. That CHEMICAL smell is nauseating. Bummed out because I was looking forward to making special cards for New Years! Just can't use my machine until I go get a new mat that I can use.

Answer:	If one had a working knowledge of electrical (12 vdc) flow and control devices, you could integrate a rheostat to dim it I suppose. I modified mine with a pull switch.
