Although JanSport offers a lifetime manufacture's warranty the extra strain on this particular lightweight backpack may cause discomfort to the wearer. You may want to look at the JanSport City View or JanSport Big Student styles. These backpacks will easily handle a 14 - 15 inch laptop.

Question:	I live in the city and I'm thinking about using this backpack to do quick runs (on foot) to the grocery store. Can it hold a gallon of milk
Answer:	It is excellent for this purpose; that is the reason I bought it. It's large enough for a few books and snacks or a small laptop, and has two smaller pockets, but it's small enough to fit easily under a seat, and best of all it can be compacted to fit in your larger suitcase when you don't need it and hardly takes up any space.
Question:	Is it waterproof
Answer:	It comes folded in its pouch which is only about 4"x 6" therefore shipping in a very small package. Loved it as packed it in suitcase until needed on a 10 day trip.
Question:	Will this work for Spirit Arilines personal item? Flying them in a few days and did not pay for a bag
Answer:	This bag is nice for day hiking lightweight and comfortable but this bag is NOT water resistant. Light rain seeped into the bag. I also tried to use it as a kayaking bag everything inside the bag was wet. It's still a nice bag I put everything in plastic zipbags inside.
Question:	I don't know whether to get the 20 or 33L pack. Any advice
Answer:	I have used this pack every day since May. 2016. It had held up well, has been hurled to the floor or wherever I want to drop it, and has cheerfully carried, at times, my kindle, my phone, my wallet, a paperback book or two, and a change of clothes. It's very sturdy and I am amazed at how much it can hold. Will it last forever? No. But I am confident it will hold up for quite a while and is a great value for a lightweight bag.

Question:	Does anyone know the actual dimensions of the bag lxwxh (for the smaller backpack). also what is the return policy, and do they offer free returns
Answer:	No, this would not be a good pack for carrying that much weight. I bought it to take on the Camino in the fall. It was great for afternoons and evening just to carry light weight personal items. The beauty of this pack is that is can be condensed. The straps are not very well padded. It is not intended to be used as a main back pack. More of a travel accessory.
Question:	Can I fit my work binder and tablet and my medicine and also my portable charger with my flashlights and my radio
Answer:	Note that there are TWO versions of this backpack under the same listing (at least as of Oct 2019). One is specifically advertised as watreproof thanks to the "roll top closure". I'm ordering this and will be updating this answer, but keep in mind when reading the other "not water-resistant" answers, that they probably are referring to the regular version of the backpack.
Question:	Will this fit a larger 17" gaming laptop
Answer:	I was wondering the same thing. Apparently the carry on size requirements have changed with Spirit. Nevertheless, this bag still complies with the airline's new policy. From the Spirit website: "One personal item is included with a Bare Fare.This is something like a laptop bag or purse smaller than 18"x14"x8". For travel before 4/4/2017, max dimensions are 16"x14"x12"."
Question:	What are the dimensions of the 17 inch version? And the laptop compartment dimensions
Answer:	I got the 20L and am really happy with it. I feel like it's a great daypack to throw a jacket, some water, snacks, my DSLR, phone charger, etc. I've taken it on a couple trips kayaking and also to theme parks. My girlfriend later got me the 33L and I thought it was just too big...if I was taking that much stuff I'd want to have a sturdier backpack. FYI I'm 5'7" 155.

Answer:	If it is a small to a medium size flash light you can put one of the holders to the back of the backpack. Your medicine can fit on the top self on the back of the backpack facing your back. The binder might be an issue along with the radio. I carry my work lessons in a different bag because it is large and fat. The portable charge has it’s own pocket in inside the backpack. The speaker I have is the ihome small speaker the size of a fist.
