| Answer: | I thought it was a little slow, and was really irked by it, but then I discovered that a lot of resources were being used by the Windows 8 apps - most of which are superfluous. When I learned how to turn them off, then everything magically began to work faster. To turn them off right-click on them, a bar will pop up at the bottom of the screen which gives the option to turn it off. Yes, you can click multiple apps at the same time to shut them off and you can turn them back on. For the record I learned this by watching a you tube video (which appeared to be from Microsoft Co, but I am not sure about the author) it was tedious and boring, but worth wading through for anyone new and unfamiliar with Windows 8 (i.e. anyone who can't stand it!) It was an introductory video. |
