We have had a few customers who found theirs to be too loose that washed and dried them in the drier and had success with that. The drier will shrink the fabric up a bit making for a more snug fit. Question:	I'm a lefty. Does the top cover swing all the way around (180 degrees) to lay flat on the back? Hinge in picture doesn't look like it does
Answer:	I love these sandals, they are basically the only shoes I ever wear - super comfortable around town, daily 2 mile walk, etc. BUT... The soles and the uppers last forever, but the insoles don't retain their cushioning that well - 4 months and 200 miles and I'm ready for another pair. They don't do well in sand, and do really badly in water. I have been very careful not to get my current pair wet, but I got my first pair soaked once, and after they dried, the insoles had lost a lot of their rebound. After the insoles have gone flat after a couple hundred miles or after getting wet, these shoes should have a whole second life washing cars, at the beach, or whatever.
