It does not have an internal optical drive. Connectivity includes 3-stream AirPort Extreme (802.11a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 3.0 ports, two "Thunderbolt" ports, an HDMI port, an audio in/out port, and an SDXC card slot. For this macbook pro model there is another Intel core i7 version that has six cores (i.e six in one processors). In either model, each core is a processor that software/applications can see and use to process their tasks. When the tasks to be carried out are divided by software/application it will take less time to accomplish so the computer will be faster. Not all software or applications take advantage of multi-core architecture. |
