Answer:	Definitely check the mic volume on every source that has the option. Besides that it might be you are to far away from it.

Answer:	Be sure to check the mic volume as well on the program and your overall computersettings. I had this issue and that fixed it.

Answer:	I've been using mine for little over a year, and no issues with it being too quiet. I do edit my recordings...compression/equalize/etc...so maybe that's why it sounds okay.

Answer:	Coming from an AV Technician, it does seem like a good thought to have those manual controls on the mic. Unfortunately, as with most "USB" technology, it means the device is "powered over usb" and the controls for these devices are usually located on the desktop, i.e. the sound control panels only. Think of the USB connector as an indicator of a shift or trade off to DIGITAL Technology from the "stereo" plugs that are used in Analog technology.

Answer:	The response time is supposed to be 4 ms. I really have no idea whether it is that fast or not because I'm not that fast.

Question:	Is this the 2019 model with better padding and light leakage fix
Answer:	No light leakage and the padding is about a good as one could imagine coming up with. I'd like a bit more range on the focus, though, it can't quite meet my nearsightedness needs, so have to wear specs which is a bit uncomfortable for long periods.

Answer:	Yes, you need bluetooth on the PC side, in order to use the controllers. The headset display will work without them... but youll want them.

Answer:	Yes, it works great with Steam VR, but there is one very important piece of software you must download to make your WMR headset compatible with Steam VR (which also makes your headset compatible with VivePort VR games as well because they run through Steam VR!). This software is "Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR" and it is a free download and available on the Steam store. So when setting up your WMR VR headset do these 3 things and it will work with Steam VR: 1. Run the WMR setup as prompted when plugging in your headset to the PC. 2. Install Steam VR. 3. Question:	Why is this unavailable everywhere? Has it been discontinued? Is there a newer model? Thank you
Answer:	The G9 is not discontinued. Over the summer, Samsung had some quality control issues where the light was bleeding through the panel/bezel, which caused them to pull units and re-inspect/re-package them again. You'll know you got a repackaged one if you see a small blue circle sticker on your box and if it looks like the bottom was re-taped (like mine was). As of now (Sept/Oct 2020), they are starting to come back into stock more often on Amazon once a week, but it's best to set up an alert/email notification on Amazon or via nowinstock or an extension, as it sells out quickly. Usually within a few hours, especially now at the new lower 1349 price point. There is also a "business" class monitor of the G9 that is very similar to this model number. Not much is currently known about it.
Question:	did they fix the flickering issue? or should wait for 2021 version
Answer:	I updated firmware to 1008.1 for the G9 but still get minor flickering here and there when adaptive vsync is on. Enabling vrr fixes the flickering but causes stuttering. Bought a good quality dp 1.4 cable that will be coming in tomorrow. If that doesn't work, I may consider contacting samsung for repair/replacement. I know there are some that have bought this monitor with no flicker issues. Its certified as gsync compatible so it should be flicker free but unfortunately it's not. Never had that flicker issue with my previous gsync monitor that I've used for the past 5 years.
