The sensor either gives off a 3.3Volt high value when motion is detected and then resumes or continues to give off a 0 voltage when no motion is detected. Question: | How do i select the 80 hz sampling rate? i don't see a jumper to set. it seems that the default is 10 hz |
Answer: | This breakout board has the rate pin (pin 15) wired directly to ground. You need to lift it and jump it to Vsup to put it in 80Hz mode. |
Question: | The default sampling rate for this board is 10 sps. how do i select 80 sps? i know this is possible but the board has no jumpers for the rate pin |
Answer: | The makers of the breakout board did not provide for changing the rate. The schematic shows the rate pin (which is pin 15 of the actual chip) simply wired to ground; it needs to be wired to power positive to set the faster sampling rate. This could probably be done by carefully snipping the pin, lifting it, and jumpering it to Vsup. |
