Answer:	TBH that I do not know. I do know that when it is plugged in you have a selection for a USB audio device that, so far, is picked up by default in Win10 and I used a few recording studio software programs to test and it had picked it up easily. Although I am unsure how to answer your question because my adapter is at work...I do know that if your headset has a microphone it will work just fine.

Motherboard BIOS update for AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors

1. From GIGABYTE’s website, download the latest compressed BIOS update file that matches your motherboard model from its product page.
2. Uncompress the downloaded BIOS file, save it to your USB flash drive, and rename it to GIGABYTE.bin. Note: The USB flash drive must use the FAT32/16 file system.
3. Insert the USB flash drive into the white USB port or BIOS Q Flash port on the back panel of your motherboard (USB port may not be labelled on all models, checking the user manual is recommended)
4. Connect the power cables to the CPU 8 Pin power connector (connect either one if there are two) and mainboard 24 Pin power connector.
5. Press the Q-Flash Plus button (location may vary by model) and the system will automatically search and match the BIOS file in the USB flash drive on the white USB port. The QFLED and the Q-Flash Plus button on the rear panel will flash during the BIOS matching and flashing process. Wait for 2-3 minutes and the QFLED will stop flashing when the BIOS flashing is complete.

Question:	Won't boot using 1070. Other cards work on it. The 1070 works on other boards. Why will this specifically not work on this board
Answer:	The rear m.2 and SATA are sharing bandwidth since they both run off the chipset, but they're sharing x4 pci-e 4.0 so it's unlikely to be a problem. Current pci-e 4.0 ssds can't use the full x4 bandwidth anyways. Even if you max out your new Gen 4 ssd you still have enough headroom to run several sata ssds at full speed.

Answer:	According to a press release from Asus, this board already supports Zen 3 with BIOS version 2606.

Answer:	It is shipping with BIOS version 2407 dated 2020/07/03. If you're intending to install a Ryzen 5000 series CPU, it should be noted that this BIOS version does NOT support booting with the 5000 series. Since this board does not have a BIOS flashback option, you MUST have a Ryzen 2000/3000 CPU on hand to be able to install the latest required BIOS.

Answer:	It does support the ryzen 7 3800xt, but it would definitely act as a bottle neck to your cpu do to it’s limited bandwidth, and lack of support for PCIE 4.0. You would effectively be paying for performance you can’t use If you buy that cpu and match it with this mother’s board, so if you can’t spend more on a mother board I recommend you get a less expensive cpu to make room in your budget for a higher quality motherboard.

Answer:	I can't answer that but here is how you can reset the cmos without removing the io shield (thanks to evl619 on reddit): "If you have the latest BIOS version 7C92v11, try to hold power button for 5sec till mobo power off, then press power again to restart. Following screen instruction press F1 to clear CMOS. Apparently MSI noticed the hardware design flaw and added above function in their latest BIOS. It kind tricky, so make sure to hold down the power button for exactly 5sec, or it will just shut down at 4sec without resetting the CMOS." I had an issue with the integrated bluetooth module not being recognized but after performing the above, Win10 now sees it. Google "MSI B550I Heatsink Blocking CMOS Reset" for more info.

Answer:	I'm looking for an answer to this too. Just completed build with Ryzen 5800x and it will not boot to bios. Everything is getting power. The "boot" debug LED comes on. I will update if I find a solution. I am going to try updating the bios from USB.

Answer:	This motherboard officially supports “2933(Max)/2666/2400/2133” DDR4. 3200 cl6 should be fine. In my case, my CPU only officially supports 2600, so I’m using that speed.
