Answer:	Tubing mascaras do not smudge. If you tend to get raccoon eyes, I highly recommend this or another tubing mascara. DHC was my go-to for awhile, however the last two tubes left flakes on my skin (still better than smudges). It seems as though they changed the formula.

Answer:	I use the Bifesta eye makeup remover, but the Heroine Make mascara remover should work as well. Saturate a cotton pad and really soak your lashes with it before gently swiping in a zigzag motion. I do it from beneath my top lashes as well, which helps. You may need to do this a couple times to get everything off. Hope this helps!
