Answer:	if you unplug the VGA cable from the card, the card will work fine but you will not have a VGA port any more. If you are using DVI or HDMI, you'll be fine. I had bought an Adecco brand dual-bracket low profile kit here on Amazon that allows you to install the VGA port in the next half-height slot over using the stock cable and it has the cutouts for the DVI, HDMI in the main bracket that attaches to the card PCB. It fit my half-height case perfectly and I am using this card specifically for the VGA output with a custom firmware that does 15kHz output modes for arcade CRT monitors.

Question:	Are all 3 outputs simulataneous so 3 monitors can be driven at once
Answer:	Yes. I have two wide screen PC monitors (Dell and Viewsonic) and a Vizio wide screen TV (30"+) connected to it. One can seamlessly swipe mouse across all three :-) I purchased this product years ago. As I recall, the metal bracket was not assembled to the board. It can be a challenge getting the bracket slots to align with the board jacks.
