Question: Will it work for dell optiplex 7010 desktop? if so, how? cannot locate accurate pinouts
Answer: It connects in on the motherboard. To install it you first remove the case wires for the start button, reset button, and hard drive activities light. This is usually found in the lower right corner of your motherboard. Just follow the pin locations found in your motherboard manual. If you do not have a motherboard manual don't worry just unplug a case wire and put a wire from the Uxcell with the same markings into the same place you just took the other from. You may run into the case wire has wires for positive and negative that are separate and the Uxcell has two wires in one plug. They will be marked + and -. Just make sure you get this right or your computer will not start. Do this with all of them one at a time and you will be ok. It should take less than 5 minutes.
Question: Does the cable disconnect where it is connected to the expansion slot? Like to make it easier to move the computer
Answer: This should work with any motherboard. If it doesn't work with a specific motherboard, then you're likely to have many other compatibility problems with that board.

Answer: No that is a Gromit for one PCI slot cover. I was able to pass 2 wires into the slot replacement unit.

Answer: Yes this s/w replaces a switch that would usually be located on the front panel of your desktop. It has a power s/w and a reset s/w below the power s/w.
Question: Will this button hard reset your system? hold down button cpu turns off
Answer: Probably not. Even if it did fit airflow will be an issue since half the cooler will be blocked by the PSU. I have a Dark Rock 4 in mine and that's the biggest cooler I'd recommend for it
