For Spot Stretching, simply insert any of the removable 'Bunion & Corn' Plugs in the appropriate holes where relief is required.



1) INSERT STRETCHER IN SHOE

Turn plastic handle Clockwise to adjust length.

2) FOR STRETCHING LENGTH

Continue to turn plastic handle Clockwise until you begin to see surface pressure showing on the shoe. DO NOT OVERSTRETCH!

3) FOR STRETCHING WIDTH

Leather stretches with wear, and can shrink without it. New leather shoes tend to be purchased tight because they will stretch. For both reasons both of stretching and shrinking, shoe trees are important. They can gently stretch new shoes so they are more comfortable for you to wear. And they help shoes worn infrequently (like dress shoes) stay the right shape by mimicking a foot inside the shoe. For shoes that are an investment, cedar shoe trees are the best.

Why cedar?

Besides the usual pest-resistance, which should always be part of clothing care, cedar is odor and moisture absorbing. When it comes to shoes, there is nothing more important than fighting odor and wetness. Besides, cedar can be sanded to up the scent as needed.

How do I care for my shoe trees?
