In fact, most low-cost headphones (in the $10 - $30 range) typically suffer from sibilance (hiss), muffled bass, tinny highs, too dominant mid-range, and distortion at higher volumes due to using low-quality components. Therefore, it's highly probable that the AudioQuest DragonFly will make cheap headphones sound exponentially worse. As the old saying goes: "You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear."

However, most speakers on the market with SPDIF input only support 48kHz sampling rate, so there will be no sound output. For this kind of use environment, it is recommended to set the output device to "DS" or "wave out" on the music program on your computer.

5. Can the K3's balanced headphone output and 3.5mm single-ended headphone output work at the same time?

A: The K3's balanced output has a higher priority than the 3.5mm single-ended(SE) Headphone out, so when the K3 is connected to both the 2.5mm balanced and 3.5mm SE headphones, only the balanced output port will output sound.

Answer:	I'm sorry I never meant to say use 4 of the Cubilux 192/24 bit ,I meant without having to buy any more you could get 7.1 from Dolby with a 7 day trial to see if it works ,it does on my PC but Im fine with 2 channel ,I use the Cubilux 192/24 on my PC the Dolby w as an offer I tried it was 7.1 for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Sound Abound for 5.1 or 7.1 but dont remember what it cost

Answer:	The Recommend headphones for this device is between 32- 600 ohms. Some reviewers suggest 600 ohms, As for the RCA output I'm not sure but it has enough gain to drive my Denon amp

Answer:	Hi. As far as I know, this DAC can be connected only with the power cable. No USB charge available.

Answer:	It will depend the impedance of the headphone itself, because of the fact that the amp is relatively low power, but I can’t say if it will be an improvement if I don’t know what you are comparing it to. But compared to a phone or a laptop, it is a significant improvement
Question:	Is there any line noise or pooping sound when taking in optical audio output from a computer? Any popping when music stops playing
Answer:	I’ve never had any line noise or popping using optical. That is via a TV not computer but can’t imagine it would be different. The only popping I’ve ever had was if the power was pulled from the unit and then plugged back in while the volume was up but you shouldn’t ever need to unplug it, it doesn’t run hot or draw power when the switch is off.
