Answer:	It's just a piece of stainless steel. I'm sure you can use it on anything. Of course its going to get very hot.

Answer:	I use this plate on my induction cooktop for cookware that is NOT induction capable. It works well in allowing the cookware to heat, but it is less responsive than normal induction cookware. I do not use it with my induction cookware. I have had no problems with staining of my cookware with it.
Question:	Are these a gummie or a harder tablet
Answer:	A ceramic bean pot needs to be used in an oven where it will have even heat on all sides to cook food. Uneven heating might even cause the ceramic to crack.
Question:	Is this product still effective if you chop it up and put it in food
Answer:	Yes. That is the whole point of it. The induction heats the diffuser which in turn heats the pot. So the diffuser gets quite physically hot, like a traditional burner. Of course the pot on top of it will heat more slowly than a induction pot directly on burner, but still gets plenty hot for most uses. BTW cast iron and enamel pots with cast iron centers (which is all of them I think) work great on induction.
