Answer:	Lexar Professional USB 3.0 Dual-Slot Reader is the only one to get unless you are only going to keep using slower speed cards. File corruption happens when you get the higher speed cards that are rockets. But when you use one of the lesser read speed models, for example, the 25 in 1, it will read much slower and results in file corruption of photos that is transferred to your computer. Note the photos on card are usually not affected by the "corruption" just those in computer. Put the same card in the Dual-Slot, and they copied into my computer just fine. Used the reader for three weeks. Downloads at a rate of 80 mbs to 90 mbs into HHD, and on other computer, which has SSD, downloads at 95mb (Lexar Professional 633X)

Answer:	The naming of USB versions is very confusing. USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.1 Gen 1 all refer to the same thing (5Gbps speed). Then there's USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2, they both refer to 10Gbps. And then these marketing geniuses came up with (new, improved!) USB 3.2 Gen 2 x 2, which is 20 Gbps. It's all backward and forward compatible, devices negotiate the best speed available.

Technical answer: Remember computers are darn fast, so it really talks to each device on at a time and then quickly moves to the next devise. You computer sorts out the proper data to each device.
