It doesn't seem damaging to bare floors, but it's really not designed for them. You might use it on the area rugs, as fleas like to congregate in such places. Answer:	Here in Western PA we have been having some serious rain issues. I don't doubt the manufacturers specs on the package about using the product every ninety days. However, in my case? About three days after application we had RAIN. The resulting plethora of gnats, skeeter's, flies, no-see-ums" leads me to doubt the product was invented by Noah and could survive a flood. So, if the rain is scheduled to leave for at least a week. I will re-apply. I have had great success with Ortho products in the past.

Answer:	I put it out in my yard and let my dogs loose in the yard couple of hours later and they were fine. I also have a few stray cats that were go though my yard and lay around in my yard and they were fine also.

Answer:	Most essential oils are toxic to cats. Normally we, and other animals, have an enzyme in our liver to break down the components of essential oils. However, cats do not have this enzyme. So, the toxic components of the oils biomagnify (build up) over time, and cause severe liver damage, neurological issues, immune system failure, and eventually death. Think of it this way, dogs cannot have too much chocolate for a very similar reason. Their bodies were not designed to digest and break down cacao like ours is. Eventually, too much chocolate will kill them.
Question:	What is the difference between this product (for cats) vs the same home spray marketed toward dogs? And why is this one so much more expensive
Answer:	Brittany's answer is not exactly correct. Close, though. The "cat" version simply reduces the amount of clove oil (eugenol) and the surfactant, sodium lauryl sulfate. Thank you to Vet's Best for being on top of that. The "cat" version will work just fine on dogs and as a spray for bedding and carpet. It is cedar oil that is toxic to cats (and who else?) and this product does not contain that.
