Question:	The light stays on all the time even when the computer is in sleep mode. How do you turn the light off on the keyboard
Answer:	Dear customer, You can be turned off the backlit function by pressing the "ScrollLock" button when you do not need it. You can also try to disable USB port power in the control panel. Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Edit Plan Settings > Change advanced power settings > USB settings > Disable USB selective suspend setting. Question:	with computer on, i turn the scrlk (led lights) off and after 20 min the lights come back on ? why
Answer:	The handling of the light is very interesting. If you turn the light off and go to "Sleep" mode, the light will come back on. If you then try to turn the light off, the computer returns from sleep mode. The light comes back on when the computer returns to normal mode. I have found no way to "sleep" with the light off. I suspect the the 20 minute interval has something to do with your screen timeout but have not been able to reproduce it.

Question:	Can I remove that ugly looking warning label on the lower right of the keyboard
Answer:	The warning label is recessed, so it is not felt while typing. Actually, I never even noticed it until I answered this question. It is a sticker and can be removed. If you remove it, you might notice the empty well in which it formerly sat. I hope that helps.

Answer:	Oh it most definitely does. Think of it as a modern equivalent to the original IBM PS/2 keyboard. It feels like a bigger, more high quality version of the one on a Dell Latitude D630

Answer:	I have been using this keyboard without incident for 5 years with a 2009 27" iMac as well as a MacBook Pro at work. There are absolutely no issues using this keyboard with a Mac. You'll need to go into the System Preferences > "Keyboard" > "Modifier Keys..." and swap the "Windows" (option) and "alt" (command) keys so it will function just like a Mac keyboard. Please ignore all the Windows users' comments who have no first-hand knowledge.
Question:	How quiet are the keys? I'm researching keyboards for a testing center. People regularly complain about the keyboard noise in there
Answer:	I don't have a noise level for you but it was one of the quietest keyboards I've had. I had one that lasted from 2010 to 2017. The one I replaced it with seemed to be exactly liked the one I replaced but the space bar didn't work unless I hit it dead center. I tried taking the space bar off the old one and using it but it didn't help. I finally put a piece of plastic in the center and it worked for about a month. I gave up and now have another keyboard that is no where near as quiet but at least all of the keys work.

Answer:	I'm pretty sure it says for ages 7 and up and I'd agree. My 5 and 7 year old try to play it and just get frustrated. To be honest, this may be their least favorite game, but it's probably because they are too young for it. Answer:	It has a softer feel to the keyboard than the mechanical type keyboard. You have to push the keys down a little harder to make sure you have the correct keystroke.
Question:	Was your keyboard absolutely horrible after a few months. The keys seem to be sticking without any apparent cause
Answer:	The keyboard was horrible right out of the box. The keys stick because of poor construction. The keys are on a plastic shaft that fits into a hole. The plastic on the key shaft would rub against the plastic in the hole. The friction caused the stickiness. These keys were not made to move up and down smoothly. I would guess that all of the keyboards of this model will have the same problem. It's a manufacturing defect.
Question:	I touch type and having problems hitting more than one key as I grow older (87) Are the keys actually large than regular or just the letters
Answer:	The keys are normal size, it is the keytop lettering that is large and easy to read. But I also find that I like the shape of the keytops and the key action. It is easy to feel the gaps between the keys because of the sloped sides. I'm 68 so I'm just a pup compared to you but I find this keyboard much easier to use with fewer mistakes because the keys are relatively light to the touch but solid feeling and have no wobble to them, unlike some Logitech and Microsoft keyboards I have owned. They provide good tactile feedback and are easily superior to most of the competition at this price point. I bought 2 of these and use them both on a daily basis 8 or more hours (I'm still working!) each day. At this price point I don't think you can find a better keyboard.

Answer:	You cannot turn off the keyboard light, only change the lighted colors of the keys themselves from either blue to red, or from red to purple. So you have three color choices of what color you'd like your keys to be, but you cannot turn off the keyboard light itself. The keys always remain lit while you're using your computer, then it turns off when you shut down.

Question:	Can you use this on a ipad 7th gen? if not do you have any recommendations for a nice wifi connect keyboard
Answer:	I don't know because, although I ordered the Aluratex twice, each time it was substituted with an AZIO KB505, which looks almost identical but is $5.00 cheaper. I have several of the AZIO keyboards and I love them...with one exception. The shift key characters are reversed from the standard keyboard. i.e., whereas on a standard keyboard, the number 1 key shifted has the ! character at the top, the AZIO (and I assume Aluratek) has it at the bottom of the key. this takes some getting used to. But other than that one issue The AZIO is terrific. The numbers are large and well lit. The touch is excellent. I've had some of these for over a year and they work as well now as they did when new. The keyboard includes all of the extra keys that I need. I prefer the AZIO model KB506 as it has multiple lighting colors (5) and the brightness is adjustable. I think probably AZIO and Aluratek are exactly the same, the Chinese company just uses two different names for some reason. I would be interested to know if anyone who ordered the Aluratek actually got that name.

Answer:	My wife and I each have one and the keyboards. The keyboard doesn't seem to distract from the monitor at all. The keys are a soft light and we prefer the blue color. The small Number, Caps and Scroll locks are brighter than the keyboard layout. I am sure you know the brightness of those lights on most keyboards. Hope this can give you something to gauge it by. We are in our office a lot at night with all the overhead lights off and we are well satisfied with this key board.
