WOD RWATG20 is a Glass stabilized Solvent Based Acrylic Adhesive reverse wound transfer tape with gold siliconized paper liner reverse wound on a 1" plastic core designed to be used in an ATG dispenser/Gun. Pressure-sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner has good adhesion to paper, most plastic films, and metal foils. Tape is acid neutral (Acid Free) and is not soluble in water.

Question:	Are there rolls of single-sided tape that I can use with this gun
Answer:	You just draw what you want to transfer onto your skin on the paper. Then either use old spice deodorant, I assume any kind would work, apply the deodorant to the skin, place the drawing on next. Then press. It should transfer quite easily. They also sell a special transfer gel if you prefer. Not sure if it works any better or not. So it's like applying one of those old temporary tattoos.
Question:	Can you use this with atg 714 gun
Answer:	I always use a pencil to draw on the top layer then I remove the second sheet and trace over what I just did with the pencil, using a pen. The ink will transfer right onto the top layer. You have to remove the second layer as it just serves a protective sheet. You can look up Batel Skater on YouTube, she demonstrates "how to make a tattoo stencil" assuming that's what you're using the transfer paper for. If it is, you'll need something to put it on the skin (I use "stencil stuff") if not I'm not sure if this method will work for you. But I hope this helps somehow.

Question:	To capture mini VD tapes, do i need a camera that can play the mini vd tape or can i put the cassette in this device
Answer:	Once the image is peeled from the carrier it is really flimsy BUT NOT STICKY. You will be able to manipulate and move it around and re position it on the shirt as required. Once you start heating it, only then it will stick to the garment. It is best to keep it away from heat until it is in the right position. You need to be quite delicate and careful when handling the peeled image.

Answer:	Yes, the software will give you an option for a destination for the captured videos. Just make sure that the drive is hooked up when you run the software and select that drive as a destination. Depending on the speed of the connection (USB/FireWire/Thunderbolt), it may take from a little to a lot longer than to do it to your local HD. If that turns out to be very slow, and you want to do a lot of converting at one time, another option is just to save one video to your Mac's drive, and then move it to the external HD while you're converting the next movie.

Answer:	If you use VirtualDub you can output your video in different formats. I output to raw AVI so I can cut my video into smaller segments in Adobe Premiere without sacrificing quality. VHS quality is already so poor, I don't want to lose any of it by re-encoding mp4/h264 files.

Answer:	Absolutely does NOT WORK on the new Thunderbolt 3 ports (USB-C). The feed appears jittery, despite looking fine on the TV. I have tried two different Elgato devices, 3 different USB 3.0 to USB-C adapters (including Apple) and a brand new MacBook Air specifically for this project. I have trouble shot every aspect and video is distorted and jumpy, probably due to data transfer feeds from a USB 2.0 device coming into Thunderbolt ports.

Answer:	As I remember, it was printed on back of the CD package. This is a mini CD so maybe you did not see it. Also, I see there was another answer saying the output quality was low. I do not find that to be the case. I play my converted 8mm videos on a 55" screen and I think they look as good as the original tapes.

Answer:	Under "system requirements" in the book that comes with it, it just says Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10. There is no mention if it works or doesn't work with Mac.

Answer:	I've done this with numerous devices and it works fine (as long as if the connectors fit of coarse). Only problem would be framerate and resolution. I believe framerate is locked in at 30 fps and resolution has 3 options: 720*480 352*480 352*240. This is great if you're playing on an older console like the ps1 or even ps2 (keep in mind that you're working with a 4:3 aspect ratio). Video editing can fix this issue though. Also, did notice video/audio sync issues with the 720*480 resolution option. Fortunately, the sync issue was consistant so video editing allowed me to fix that. FINAL VERDICT: If you are looking for hd 60fps video recording, this is not the device for you. However, if you're looking for the cheapest way to capture decent gameplay footage, this device should do the trick. Hope this was helpful. (Also, if you can tell me the exact console you are wanting to capture with this, I might be able to confirm that it works)

Question:	Have a mac with catalina 10.15.4 the disc will not load, says not compatible. software from the website will not open. any suggestions
Answer:	I'm using Mojave (10.14.6). No problems. You don't need to download any drivers or software. By plugging the device into your USB port, it loads its own drivers. Then, with your input ready to go, you open Quicktime, do a "New Movie Recording" and then on the little dropdown next to the record button within the quicktime window, select "AV TO USB 2.0" for the Camera and "USB 2.0 MIC" for Audio. Hit record and roll the tape (or whatever).
Question:	Installed drivers, then software, then device. in showbiz capture...no device shows up. what should i do
Answer:	make sure cable connections are tight. Try to change the connections to the plugins to front or viceversa. Click play before capturing

Answer:	I have been unable to get this to work on Windows 10. I was able to get it to work on Windows 7, but not my preferred computer. Moreover, I have been unable to remove ArcSoft ShowBiz software from my Windows 10 computer. The normal windows process for uninstalling an app did not work, even in safe mode. I see no uninstaller with the software (which is quite old), so I don't know what I'm going to do.

Answer:	Yes. I have not found an option to make it full screen, but the picture will still fill most of your screen even with the program border.

Answer:	Regarding the user who said it did not pass audio, I found a similar issue with a similar Empia USB capture device. Here's the thing: You have to dig into the *video* input capture settings, where you'll find a Mute checkbox, which defaults to enabled. You'll want to uncheck that, then audio capture will work. Audio capture via PulseAudio may also be crackly and broken, in which case, it's advised to use pavucontrol to disable PulseAudio for the capture device, and use ALSA directly.
