Answer:	I have the fire tablet with a protective case and it does NOT fit with that protection case on. I have to take it out of tht case for it to fit. The slit is narrow. My samsung galaxy 8 phone has to be pushed with bit of force to get in with my otter case around it. If you dont use any protective covers everything Is fine. Answer:	I am a retired Macintosh geek and can answer most technical questions. However, I not a PC geek. Bottom line with keyboards is if they work with one device they should work with another unless connections do not match..If connections do not match you have a problem and will need an adapter, if one is available. I would think any USB device would be compatible with another USB device. That is not 100% true. Operating system/version may come into play. That can work both ways...some devices demand a current. Older devices may not work with current systems. Bottom line? Connect the keyboard..it will work (probable), or it will not work.

Answer:	Yes, the battery screws into the end where your battery usually goes, you take the battery cap off and need to store it somewhere so you dont lose it because this replaces that portion of the keyboard.

Answer:	The battery pack came with it. I believe you can also purchase extras, in case you have the track pad, and want to use it to recharge that, also. That said, be sure that iic you DO buy one of these, that it, indeed, comes with the battery pack. (I have seen them sold separately on eBay) It is useless without it!

Answer:	Yes, they stabilizers are plate mounted. The plate is not cut out to allow board mounted as far as I can tell.

Answer:	Normal use is to have the trackpad (or keyboard) in the charger at all times, so you never have to consciously charge the battery -- it just stays charged all the time. It's not a "wired" trackpad, in that you can't "unplug it" to turn it off, but essentially it's "insert and never worry about batteries".
