T harness must use with aftermarket radio that has a backup camera input feature only- Vehicle must be equipped with a 6.1" inch touch video screen and have 16-pin connector like advertising picture.
It do not comes with 12 to 6 voltage step down adaptor . So if your factory backup camera is not capable of being powered by 12 volts but 6 volts, you should have to find 12 to 6 voltage converter at your side.

Answer:	These are for my office, so I didn't want the lights. Flip over the speakers to the back side and you can see where the 2 screws that hold the base to the rest of the unit. Press the foam bottom in these 2 spots and you'll see the indentation for the two screw heads. Use an x-acto knife to cut out two indentations for each speaker. I tried the 2 screw/needle-nose pliers trick others mentioned and broke off all 4 lights, but the leds remained on. I unscrewed the 3 mini screws on the underside of the unit and used the x-acto knife to cut one of the wires that connect to the two leds. Sounds harder than it really is. Sure it's a bit of a pain, but I've got exactly what I want now.

Answer:	I assume you have a Toyota. When power up the camera, the radio sends out 5V from pin 7 (of this connector) to power up the backup cam.After the camera turns on It sends the signal back from RCA jack to radio to let the radio know there is a back up camera available.It will function as a backup display when the car put on reverse.If the radio doesn’t receive RCA signal on first power up. It will assume no backup cam on the car and will not turn on the display after that when the car on reverse. Your problem is you use a 12V backup camera and connect it to the backup light. That is why you put it on reverse first and turn on the radio after, the radio display works. What I did I bought a a 5V to 12V step up converter to step up signal from pin 7 and connected to backup cam. When the car put on reverse,the radio send out 5V from pin 7 got step up to 12V to power on backup cam. No need to connect cam to backup light.
