Answer:	As long as the subs are dual 4 ohm you can maximize the power of the amplifier at 4 ohms bridged... If they are single 4 ohm you would need to run the amp bridged and series the subwoofers to an 8 ohm load.

Answer:	I can't remember the exact one used but it was similar to the kicker bass knob. Any decent brand one should work fine

Answer:	Look at any other 5ch. Amp, and make sure it has short protection... I popped a 10" sub and it fried the ammo because of no short protection

Answer:	I don't think I would run two of that sub because it is a 4 ohm sub. That would restrict your watts from the amp to about 300 watts output. If they were 2 ohm subs it would probably be fine. I am running one kicker 12" sub ported and it is a 2 ohm sub so I am getting 500 watt output.
Question:	Do I need crossover for this amp
Answer:	Nope it has a built in one. Now you can use a 6 channel EQ with a crossover if you want. I am using just the Kenwood amp and it sounds fine to me but I do have a Kenwood head unit also so they work well together. The amp has inputs for front, rear and subwoofer, with a limited crossover built in. I personally find no reason to have an extra crossover for it.

Question:	Can i run the sub at 4ohms and the rest of speakers at 2ohms or will that ruin the amp? I only have a dual 2ohm sub and 4 front and 4 rear speakers
Answer:	Not in the way you think you can. If I understand you clearly, you have a sub that has a "dual" 2 ohm voice coil. This sub would typically have two leads running to it to provide power. This Amp only has a single lead at 300 watts. You safest bet is to purchase a new sub. I like the Rockford Fostgate P1s and they are cheap on here. (well under 100 bucks) This is a great amp that provides very clean power. You other option is to purchase a separate amp is run two channels to your current sub.
Question:	what wiring kit should i get for this amp in a boat? will it hook up to a sony cdx-gt270mp
Answer:	I used the boss 8 gauge wiring kit found here on Amazon. The manual recommended 4 gauge but this amp will carry the 8 gauge just fine with no problems. Also yes the Sony cdx-gt270mp will work just fine. If you have just 2 speakers and a sub just run the pre out cables ( red = right, white =left) to either the A or B channel on the amp. Make sure you run your speakers to the corresponding speaker inputs to match channel you used. Since your receiver don't have a sub pre out the amp will automatically power your subs too off whatever channel you used to power the regular speakers. Just make your your sub is hooked up to its corresponding speaker input and switch on amp is in the A/B position and not Sub position. If you are running 4 speakers and a sub then you will need 2 y splitters ( 1 male to 2 females) to convert the 2 pre outs coming from your receiver from 2 pre outs to 4 and then run 2 to the A channel and 2 to the B channel. Run speakers to corresponding speaker inputs as shown in diagram. Amp will still power your subwoofer as stated above. You don't need a pre out for sub. Once again just make sure you hook sub up to corrosponding speaker input and make sure switch on amp is switched to A/B instead of Sub. Diagram that comes with amp is very easy to understand. Any other questions just ask.

Answer:	Sound is amazing on my boat. 10” sub and 4 6.5 this amp drives them perfect. Only complaint is is runs really hot.

Answer:	Not positive. I am running 2-5.25, 2-6.5, and 2-8" subs at 4 ohm with no problems. It is only a 5channel amp. I split the sub.

Answer:	This allows for either high or low speaker input and 4 output. You simply cut two of the provided RCA wires and splice your speaker wires into it and then wire back to the two speakers and the two additional speakers.

Answer:	I don't know about a 5 prong toggle switch but you definitely could with a 5-pin Bosche Relay (one with an 87a terminal). You can easily find wiring diagrams for them online, but essentially, pin-30 to the positive input to the amp, pin 87a to your accessory positive from the vehicle, pin 85 and 87 to your constant positive from the vehicle and then pin 86 to the vehicle ground with a normal toggle switch inline ... with the switch turned off, the circuit runs to pin 30 through pin 87a ... with the switch turned on, the circuit runs to pin 30 through pin 87

Answer:	Connect the blue wire to a power source. Ideally, the power source should be controlled by the ignition switch. This will prevent the battery from getting drained if the amp is left on. You can also connect the blue wire to the same power source as the main power lead. In this instance a on/off switch (on the blue wire) should be inserted so the unit can be turned off.

Answer:	The smell can be from the new amp warming up during use (feel the temp of the amp if you smell it again to verify). If it's smokey or smells like an electrical fire/short, I'd disconnect everything and look for arcing/burn marks. You might have a stray power line that's hitting ground intermittently. Good luck. Trouble shooting can be a pain.

Answer:	This is a loaded question do to many people having different opinions about it. Some say the more strands allow for easier flow and less voltage drop when power consumption goes up. There are opinions all over about this topic, so I will give you what I have. I ran both positive and negative 10 awg automotive type wire, running my tower with 4 6x9 speakers and it all works just perfect. Wire run length was 17ft. The bluetooth works well but range is just about 5ft in my application.
