Answer:	This camera comes with a cigarette lighter adapter to plug the included MicroUSB power cable into. This is the standard power method but if you would like to connect to a constant power source Cobra has a MicroUSB hardwire kit. Using a constant power source enables you to use parking mode which can record any movement in front of the camera while your car is off. This camera does not have an internal battery, it uses a super capacitor instead which is much more reliable in extreme heat and cold conditions that can occur in the car. If you unplug the camera from the power source it will stop recording, save the last video file, and shut down within 5 seconds.
Question:	How effective is radar detector in warning police speeding detectors
Answer:	This camera is not a radar detector. It is able to connect to the Cobra iRadar app which radar detectors share information on locations of live police locations. Question:	Does this record in little 1-2 minute blocks, or does it make some nice big time blocks. After long term use do the intervals become smaller
Answer:	you can use real golf balls with this net, it stops them fine. Keeping the ball within the 6x6 net is another issue and depends partly on how close you place the hitting pad. I usually put mine within about 6 to 8 feet from the net and it captures 95% of my shots, but I occasionally hit one outside the net. Because of that, I use foam practice balls to minimize any potential damage when one gets away.
Question:	Is there a polarisation filter for this camera
Answer:	Hey Craig, I have the 8x8 golf net and I use my net in the back yard. However, I leave a couple of feet of space beyond the back parallel base bar that holds the net. That works well for me.
Question:	Are there any issues with the lens fading after use/exposure to UV? What material is the lens made of
Answer:	No, I don't see a direct correlation between my back yard work and more consistent shots. I can say that it does help limber me up and I get to use the golf balls I use on the course and not those rock-hard range balls. I do like the flexibility to go out in the yard when I want to and spend 15-20 minutes swinging the sticks.
Question:	Can this unit be used for in home surveilance also
Answer:	It'll stand on it's own. Also, for indoor use, I suppose you could put a sandbag or two on the back bottom rod to keep it in place. But no, you don't need to put the stakes in the ground for it to work. I think they are mainly used to keep it upright in the wind.

Answer:	Leave the camera plugged in via charger. When car powers off it enters a low power state via the internal battery power, but you can also purchase the hard wire kit which will hook to car's battery and give constant power to the camera in the low power mode state. Answer:	This can be set on the menu as screen saver.. But I prefer to keep the screen off, as it would not distract my diverting attention through the indicator lights on the camera. I can know whether the camer is recording or not.

Answer:	The cameras work with power to the port, no power they turn off. Not every vehicle has a power port that turns off when you turn off the vehicle. Some have one port that is always powered and one that switches off/on with the vehicle. Point here is that it's your vehicle, you need to look at your owners manual or just test the port(s) with the vehicle on and off.
Question:	How to keep the SD card recording continuously and avoid the memory card been full
Answer:	I use 128GB SD card, and works perfectly. I get about 14 Hours of Recording, then it overwrites from top. Just format the card using the camera, and works fine with a 128GB card.

Question:	Can this camera use the memory card 128GB or higher
Answer:	I have used a 64 Gb and 256Gb micro SD card (Samsung 256GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSDXC EVO Select Memory Card). My Windows 7 would only format a 32Gb partition with FAT 32. HOWEVER, if you put the larger cards in the camera and use the "Format" option in the settings menu, it will format them so that the entire card is available to write to. By my calculations, the 256Gb will hold over 30 hours of video (30 hours each for both cameras).

Answer:	Yes, it records two files simultaneously, front camera file is suffixed with an 'A' and rear camera file is suffixed with a 'B'. One thing to note that I didn't realize before buying the product, is that the front camera only records in 1080P when the rear camera is connected. 1440P is only for when the camera is recording by itself.

Answer:	No, it does not capture the inside of the vehicle. For me is not suitable. Both, front and rear cameras are to capture all action of all the vehicles in front of you and the rear is for the upcoming aggressive driving tailgating you and pushing around. Also it fix suitable as a back camera. I am very pleased with it.

Answer:	It is not wireless. It has about a 20 foot cord you attach to the rear camera. It plugs in to the left top side of the camera.

Answer:	Fine. My windshield is tinted 20% like all the other windows in my truck. Theres no problem at all. The camera will be fine. Just turn off the night vision IR emitters. The IR bounce off the glass and white out the picture sometimes. But its fine. I have clear video

A1:After a while the screen shuts off during recording, which is a normal phenomenon named screensaver mode and you needn’t to worry about it.

It's just for energy saving while the cam is still recording. If you want to keep the screen stay on when recording, please enter the setting mode and turn off the ‘screen saver'’ .



Q2: How does the rear cable connect to the main unit and how long it is?

A2: Please kindly note that the end with straight interface should be plugged into the female port on the main unit, while the one with a curve

Q3: When i connect to my laptop, it occurs two options "mass storage" and "pc camera". How do i choose?

A3: If you connect the cam to computer via USB cable, the screen will read Mass storage and PC camera. You could choose Mass storage

and the cam will be read as an external storage device and you can choose to playback on computer

or just transfer the recordings to your computer.
