Answer:	Actually no, this one does not have HDMI out. You need to get the Hero4 silver or black to get HDMI out to connect to a TV.

Answer:	yes, there are replacement and large add-on packs for extended run-time. the internal battery isn't something most people would want to swap while using, but it could certainly be modified. the wasabi pack I just saw on this page is big and swappable, it does cover up the lcd.
