Answer:	Hi Jenny, if you mean the detachable base it's just over an inch at its highest point. If you want to know how high the camera reaches, fully extended you can expect the camera lens to sit around 12.5 inches from the surface it's standing on. Our later HUE HD Pro model is a little larger and it should just clear 15.5 inches.
Question:	Does the gooseneck separate from the base? Is is a USB connection to the base
Answer:	Sorry, I use this to teach a college math course and I have been busy grading a test. Yes the gooseneck separates from the base and connects with a USB connector. I am going to try to attach a picture. My son also attached the base to a piece of plywood with velcro to stabilize it and give me a uniform location to place the notebook that I write on. Question:	Will this work offline once software be installed
Answer:	The scanner does not need an internet connection to scan, but you do need a PC to work with. The scanning speed is very fast, clarity is also very good, simple software operation and rich functions.
Question:	Is it compatible with Windows
Answer:	For me the software did not work with Windows 10. I tried it on two new laptops and the software would never get yo the main screen it was just stuck in a loop. I was looking forward to using this product. Unfortunately I didn't get around to installing the software until the return policy window expired so I am stuck with something I can't use.
Question:	Can this scanner handle curvature of middle/seam sections of bound books (like automatically straightening image out at curve)? Is this a problem
Answer:	The scanner X3 does not have flattening curve technology, and you could refer to our another scanner X7, which can automatically compensates for surface curvature, thank you.

Answer:	You can clean it, but I don't recommend dry-cleaning the pouches, because it has a waterproof coating, and dry cleaning may destroy the coating!

Answer:	There is a layer of waterproof painting inside the zipper bag. I tried to wash the surface with water, it is waterproof.

Answer:	It projects images on paper well and does a good job projecting 3-D objects as well. Responds well to changes in light intensity. Drawing controls are somewhat clumsy.
Question:	My invitees see my screen in correct orientation, but I see it (my screen) reversed (mirror image.) How can I correct this problem
Answer:	Hi! Zoom videos are mirrored by default. There are two ways to fix this problem: 1) Use the bundled Documate software and Sharing Screen in ZOOM to get the correct image orientation, or 2) change the ZOOM video settings by unchecking "Mirror my video". Question:	Hello, can we use it as a webcam for skype? does it has microfon? we want to use it for teaching mathematics online
Answer:	Yes, this doc cam works perfectly as a webcam, too. It has a good camera and microphone. One trick you should know to use it as a webcam: When you flip the camera head up to look at you, your face will appear upside-down on your screen. You can flip your image 180 degrees (right side up) by simultaneously pressing the "brighter" and "dimmer" light buttons. (These are the two buttons on the outer edges on top of the camera head). It works perfectly, looks and sounds great, and no special software needed! BUT I strongly recommend you obtain a regular webcam to show your face so you can continuously use the Inswan INS-1 as a doc cam to show your problem solving. It will be cumbersome to switch it back and forth while trying to teach!

Answer:	Yes. Our software, Visualizer, has a video recording function where you can make and save videos in full HD. There's even a mic on the camera itself that can record sound. To upload to Facebook or Youtube, all you'd need to do is simply import the file from your computer over to their platform. Answer:	I'm sorry but I don't quite understand your question. Do you need a doc cam that can connect to your PC that can record sound and video? The VZ-R has a microphone that can record audio and our free software, Visualizer, can record video as well as scan documents, take pictures, etc. The VZ-R can also be directly connected to a TV or projector via HDMI for times when you just want a live stream for your audience.
