| Answer: | It is the recommended tool but I did'nt have much lock with it. It needs a lock nut to prevent the attachment from loosening. I ended up using my hands to release one heater hose. Good luck with the return hose there is no room to work. Ford must have a special tool or technique, or really small hands. |

| Answer: | My experience recently regarding these fuel line sizes on my Ford RV truck is 3/8" for the fuel filter fittings and the larger (5/8?) for the fuel pump fitting. But it is 50/50 whether they come off easy with these tools. The clips inside bend easily and if so they do not release and it requires a lot of tugging and a replacement insert clip that should be slid over the filter lip first and then the fitting cup end should be slid over the new clip. Good luck. |
