Question:	i just got this and I'm getting bad shadows, is that normal
Answer:	I have shadows too. If you close the front door and photograph through one of the holes that takes care of it but I can’t do that. Mine has shadows because I’m taking pics through the front and blocking some of the light. I photograph jewelry so I must be over top. This box needs a couple extra lights. I’m trying to find additional lighting that doesn’t cause the horizontal lines to show in my pics. I read somewhere that it’s caused by the speed at which the light is going on and off due to the nature of AC power. If that is the reason we need lights like the ones in the box that complete their full on/off cycle in the time that my camera shutter opens and closes. Maybe that has to do with kHz? I saw somewhere that lights that run at 15khz would take care of this. Still trying to fix it. The first light I got had that flicker sostill searching.
Question:	Can you purchase a replacemnt backround
Answer:	If you want to get fancy, the top edge of the included/attached backdrop has one small piece of hook and loop fastener on each side. The installed backdrop measures roughly 29.5 inches wide by 43 inches long. You could purchase anything and trim to size, and attach with adhesive or sew-on hook & loop fastener or simply clip it on with binder clips or the like.

Question:	What stand do I get with this
Answer:	Depends on the tripod. The unit does come with enough adapters to be able to accommodate 1/4-20 studs, 3/8-16 studs, and even 5/8 unthreaded stud. If your tripod has any of these types of mounting studs you will do just fine. The flash on the other hand you will have to be more cautious. The flash shoe on top of the Fotodiox bracket is totally made out of plastic. For lighter flash units, I guess the flash shoe will not be much of a worry. But if you tend toward taller, heavier units and like to add on extras like umbrella reflectors then be careful. Don't get me wrong, I got half a dozen of these units myself and they are fantastic for the price. But, I am not using them for holding flash units. I actually have removed the flash shoes and screwed the exposed 1/4-20 stud into some lightweight lamp fixtures. I am very, very pleased with the tilt and swivel functions this bracket gives me. (And the movements are both smooth and secure to boot.)
Question:	Does it really work
Answer:	I use this with the nikon SB600, SB700 and the SB910. No need anything else, comes with cold shoe adaptor. Remove the cold shoe adaptor from the head and screw the Nikon shoe stand that came with the flash onto the 1/4" stud to attach your flash and you are good to go.

Answer:	Yes you can, but you must attach a spigot to the tripod (like this: http://www.amazon.com/Manfrotto-119-Female-Spigot-Adapter/dp/B001E4LC6C/ref=sr_1_1?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1458744897&sr=1-1&keywords=long+spigot). This because the camera tripod have a 1/4 inch to attach the tripod head, so you have to take of the tripod head and put the spigot instead. Just a comment. I bought 4 of this Fotodiox brackets (could be any other brand) and i had a bad experience: the flash is not properly secure and many times fall to floor for this reason, it is very difficult to get the flash tightly secure, i recommend the Manfrotto ones instead of this type.
Question:	When will Fotodiox have a grid for this modifier
Answer:	This bracket is compatible with "normal" hot shoes like the ones off of canon and Nikon. Sony uses a proprietary contact which has a different contact and shape. Do a little browsing and see what your options are. I'd google "proprietary to normal flash bracket". You should find something helpful.
