Answer:	Same issue. I just got mine about 2 weeks ago. It is a pain, but I don’t have the answer. Hope someone does.

Answer:	If I were you, I would just buy a duplicate light. Buy the time you figure out where to get a third leg from on top of the risk of purchasing a mystery product, you will better off knowing for sure that you got a match with a duplicate & an extra unit for more light if needed. This unit is so affordable that repairing a broken leg and/or buying a duplicate is the lease you can do. Also, Amazon is good about returns and/or exchanges so if I were you, I would not waste my time buying a leg for this affordable unit.
Question:	I see it has a battery but can you just run it in plug-in mode if the battery is dead/low
Answer:	This camera light is super convenient & can easily work from a plug-in source should the battery die. Everything about it makes it a reliable choice!
Question:	Is the light coming off this already defused and if not can you recommend a good defuser
Answer:	There is a frosted covering on the front. So yes there is diffusion. If you want more diffusion for a softer look try using it through a lamp shade
Question:	Can you damage the batteries by overcharging or leaving it a cold environment? I've charged it fully, The bars drop so quickly and it just shuts off
Answer:	I’ve never had an issues with over charging. Or with temperatures drops or increases. I think you have one with a faulty battery. I use mine for night photos. And they last about 4 to 5 hours.

Question:	Can you use it to do a pan picture
Answer:	Panoramic shooting is not mentioned in the manual, and there does not appear to be a selection in the camera's functions to achieve it. You can probably still get that result with third-party external software on a PC by taking the sequence of shots to stitch together, but Canon does not provide it.
Question:	Can someone verify that Wi-fi feature/ app supports this camera? I want this feature specifically and 2 comments say it doesn't
Answer:	Just received mine yesterday 1/24/18. I downloaded the Canon app off of Google app store on to my smart phone. WiFi worked just fine... was able to operate my camera remotely thru my phone with the app. Downloaded pictures to phone and then to pc. Pc found wireless network for phone. Fyi. Amazon says screen is 5". Unless my visual capabilities are way off. No way it's 5" ... maybe 3
