Answer:	The cables can be gently pulled apart so they become 2 separate individual cables. There is no molding or any type of binding implement on either end. Question:	How come i only got 4 short dividers? (== 6 compartments) the photos show 6 dividers (plus the long one). not using this for camera; i need them
Answer:	No. So, for clarification a DAC is a digital to analog converter... Your coaxial output is digital format from your “dac” there should be rca’s as well and yes, they are the analog output- thus the name of the unit -if you have a stand alone dac; seems silly you would have another piece of equipment do the converting. If connecting to a power amp - you need a pre-amp.. if it’s an integrated amp ( which is a pre amp and amplifier in one unit.) then you may want to watch some “how to videos” btw- rca’s on your amp are a analog input. Good luck- #details are everything

Answer:	Regarding optical cables that don't stay plugged in - check the ends of the cable and remove the plastic guards on each end. I had this trouble and could never get the optical audio cables to stick. Once the tiny plastic cover tips were off, the connectors snapped in and stayed.

Answer:	Yes these are stackable. At first I thought they weren't because I just sat the top one on the bottom one without taking the top off. You must take the top off the one that is sitting on the floor. Once the top is off. just connect the bottom four posts to the top corners. You must make sure the four corners are evenly lined up. Once they are lined up just apply a little pressure and they will snap together. You will hear the snap. Once they snap, they are locked and won't separate. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Did you copy the 'entire' software CD to your PC? I can't recall if it was the 'same' error, but I too had some sort of error when I tried to use after copying only the "AMAG_EN" folder to my PC. You also need to copy the folder that looks like "AMAG_╚╒▒╛╒Z". Mine worked after doing this. Also, when you are using the software app to reprogram the kb, it needs to be plugged directly into the PC. It can't be plugged into a 'Hub' or some kind of splitter. After programming, then it can be used (typing) on a Hub.

Answer:	You just plug it in. You use the software to set the hot keys, according to your preference. But AFTER you set them the way you want and save them on the Koolerton, then you can bring the Kooleron anywhere and use it, even if that PC doesn't have the software.
Question:	what are the dimensions
Answer:	Yes, you can. In the software, you first assign ctrl to the key, then "split" that into ctrl-down and ctrl-up. Between them insert the shift, then split THAT into shift-down and shift-up. Finally, insert the F1 key between the shift-down and shift-up events. Sounds confusing, but once you load up the software it's not too hard to figure out. Hope that helps!

Answer:	The power rating expresses the output in watts (which is volts x amps). The voltage potential for for the adapter is suited to the voltage requirement of the computer, as when you remove the battery and use the adapter as a line source. Since the voltage is identical, the current (amps) will be reduced from an adapter with a lower watt output. Therefore, the battery will recharge slower (need more time to charge), like a trickle charge on a car battery. If the computer is operated during recharge, the computer uses the battery as source power and the adapter recharges the battery. The analogy is a bathtub filled with water (battery). You open the drain and the water flows out (computer) while you run the spigot at a lesser volume of flow (adapter). Eventually, the tub empties. Question:	will this work with slides? Most microscopes are backlit, so wondering about having a child make their own slides
Answer:	I bought one to take photos of coins for sale on Ebay. It didn't work well for that purpose because it wouldn't back off far enough to take photos of more than one coin at a time. However, I don't see why it wouldn't work for slides. The base is white and should allow you to see darker items on the slides.
Question:	I don't need the stand, just the microscope; is it available by itself and can it be used with a gooseneck or camera tripod
Answer:	You might look elsewhere, as this is an unbranded camera that could be packaged and sold by many different retailers. I personally like this stand quite a lot. My unit came -unexpectedly- as a repack and the previous buyer had partially assembled the sand, not doing a very good job of it. Once I reassembled it I felt it really enhanced the use of the microscope. Focus and lighting control is a one-hand operation when the camera is in the stand.
Question:	best microscope for coins
Answer:	First, this IS definitely Windows 10 compatible - that's what I have used with this since purchasing this product October 2018. Second, it and the software is excellent for coins - with one exception - the "chrome plated pipe" that the microscope slides up and down on is TOO SHORT. I typically have to elevate it 5 inches (+/-) depending on diameter of coin I am photographing and how large of an image I want the resultant photo to be. I usually position it on a desk and place the coin on a table which is about 5 inches lower than the desk. I made a coin positioning fixture for the table by cutting a "V" into a piece of cardboard which I affix using blue painters tape. Now all I need do is slide the coin into the "V" notch until the coin stops (make the width of the "V" opening large enough to accommodate a variety of coin diameters). I colored the cardboard top surface in all edges of the "V" shaped notch with a broad tip black Sharpie to match black color of table top. This speeds up photography by quite a bit as you do not have to fumble much positioning the coin - just slide it in until it stops and rotate for alignment.
