Question:	Is the foot print really 6.1" x
Answer:	Yes....the bottom 3 prongs are metal and what draws electricity, the top 3 prongs are plastic and I must mention that they are shorter in length then the metal prongs. I have an gf I outlet that wouldn't hold tight on the top prongs which caused the surge protector to push out of the top outlet. Not sure why the manufacturer wouldn't make the plastic dummy prongs EQUAL in length. I also must mention that it doesn't have the center screw to secure it to the outlet. So if you plug in something with a tight fit, when unplugging the cord it will pull the surge protector from the outlet as well. Not a good option for garage ceiling outlets either due to Not having the center outlet screw mount. I bought 13 more than 1 year ago for my house and they are all still working. I like that the outlets can swivel to the side if you don't want your cords sticking straight out.

Question:	What is the clamping voltage of this device? the seller and others responded the clamping voltage is 150v. this is impossible
Answer:	"Clamping voltage" has two possible meanings--all depending on when it occurs. Your house voltage in the USA will typically range from 118 to 124 volts. Hopefully, it will never rise to the 150 volts but it is possible. If it does, the unit should self-destruct at 150 volts. However, when a surge come thru from something such as a lightening strike nearby or a huge motor that is on the same power line turning off, the surge could be in the thousands of volts but the device is supposed to clamp to 150 volts and then self-destruct in an attempt to protect your equipment. Power lines are typically "dirty" in that the power isn't a perfect sine wave but has electrical noise riding on the voltage. During the Gulf War, some of our cruise missiles dropped conductive strips on top of the major power lines so that the sparking would generate severely dirty power for the enemy's computers to have to cope with.

Answer:	The 2 most common ways for an actual surge to enter your home are through a telephone line and through coax cables. Not the power line, you'll get voltage fluctuation but not a surge from say a lightning strike like you will through telephone or coax. Now wether thing thing will help with a lightning strike is another matter all together.

Answer:	I have it clamped to a desktop that is an inch thick. It could easily clamp to a thicker desktop. It works best if the edge is square and not beveled. Before the current desk I clamped the power strip to a folding plastic table that had a deeply beveled edge. It clamped on but was a bit loose. It also will work best if there is 1 1/2" to 2" lip on the desk top so the clamp can be seated firmly and securely.

Answer:	Please note that this is a 15 Amp circuit breaker. Depends on what type of circular saws you are using. If you have 4 Milwaukie worm drives, I would say no way; they are 15 amps each. If you are running 4 makita trims saw, then most likely yes. Look at what the amp draws are for your saws and add them. The breaker in your house won't trip because the amps drawn didn't exceed 20 amps, but the cheap light duty extension cord with no over-current protection starts to heat up, melt, and/or catch on fire. The recommended 30ft isn’t physical location to the panel, it is actually running wire to the service panel. These requirements are usually taken into consideration when a circuit is originally wired, but it is a safety recommendation that we mention in order to remain compliant with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Answer:	If you can operate the heater plugged into a standard 120v wall socket, you should be able to run it through the isobar. It protects your equipment from electrical surges. I'm not sure why you care to protect a heater from a surge. Isobars are typically used with Stereos, TVs, and other sensitive electronics that could be damaged in a power surge. I doubt heaters fall into the sensitive electronic equipment category but as an abundance of caution, OK

Question:	How many volts of clamping voltage
Answer:	You can not just upgrade a breaker to a higher amp rating. You have to have the correct wiring to support it. If the device is rated for a15 amp circuit, then it should not trip, unless there is a problem or unusual load from the motor (a separate issue) or maybe a bad breaker, but replace it with another 15 amp, not a 20. To support a 20 amp breaker, you need to upgrade with wiring within the wall to 12 gauge. 15 amp uses 14 gauge wire. Good way to cause a fire by trying to load a 20amp circuit over wiring that will support only 15 amps safely. Also, remember may circuits are shared, so if you have lamps, TV's, or other devices running on the same circuit then you turn on your treadmill, you could very well pop it. There are likely more than just of plug for that circuit.
Question:	How many watts (demand) can it handle? Thanks
Answer:	The 5-20p plug is associated with the 20 ampere power strip mentioned above. Your toaster draws a maximum of 15 amps, so if you plug it into a 20 amp outlet in your home, you'll be OK. If you plug it into a 15 amp outlet, you'll probably get away with it., since as Mr. Abbazia noted, the toaster probably does not draw a full 15 amps. I recommend against using a 15 amp power strip for this purpose for the reason that CJ mentions - it is a possible hazard. Each connection is a resistance point and apt to heat up, given that your device will be drawing high amounts of current. Nonetheless, you'll probably get away with this too, since the toaster will most likely draw less than 15 amps.

Answer:	I have a 10 Outlet Tripplite & a 4 outlet Tripplite both of which had tabs with screw holes that I used to mount behind cabinets to organize electrical power cords. I don't know specifically about the 6 outlet 20A model, but it probably does.
Question:	Which way does the "right angle" plug face? If the cord's grounding prong is facing down, does the cord run to the right or the left of the outlet
Answer:	Says 14AWG on mine. Mine is a 15 amp model. The link attached to this question is for a 20 amp and that would require the 12AWG wire.
