| Answer: | I would say yes. The glue is sticky so don't press firmly until it is lined up. Recommend to use a low hertz cd to the sub while gluing. This helps line up the driver using the speaker's magnetic force. Not too loud, it can be hard on the speaker, and all it needs is a little movement. Good luck. |

| Question: | What is used to clean the old adhesive from the cone? Is this provided in the kit, or just the foam and adhesive |
| Answer: | I used a razor blade to scrape all the dry adhesive off. The whole thing was a very tedious process, from prep to completion. I repaired one speaker, took apart the other and found that the wires were broken. I ended up purchasing two replacement 8" woofers (GRS Poly Cone 8" Woofers) for 12 bucks each. Two speakers for the price of one set of these rubber seals. That's the route I'd go again if you're not repairing some incredible, expensive speakers.This repair kit is great if you've spent a lot of time and money getting the perfect sound for your room and need to repair a torn surround on one of your woofers. For me, I had a couple of 10+ year old Infinity speakers from a garage sale, with rotted surrounds. The cabinets were in good shape, so a simple swap worked out great for me. |

Go on YouTube and search replace speaker foam and you will be able to get enough information to make your decision. |

The tone generator centers the coil by default by creating 2 opposing magnetic fields. |
