Question:	Will fit on slider rack shelf with 16 inches wide and 15 inches deep? thank you
Answer:	Good question. There are two things you should know before you pull the trigger on this. Banana plugs don’t insert far enough to stay put, and since I have this box hooked up to amplified speakers I kept getting a buzz. I bought special banana plug pig tails which I ended up removing because of said problem. What did work very well for me was to remove the banana plugs and strip and solder the speaker wires then tighten the threaded part against the inserted wire in the hole on the shaft, a very tight connection and that worked great. The other issue is you can’t turn off one the speakers which was reported in one of the comments. It is annoying but for my application one set of speakers is downstairs with their own volume control so, I just adjust the volume on them when in use. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Hi, I have one of these (returning the 1st one due to poor speaker terminal , I find that it will accept a 4mm and thicker Banana Plug. Amazon's model was poor fit, but MediaBridge's plug in more securely. I have not fully connected my XtremePro yet, but I hope this helps.

Answer:	I may not be understanding your question correctly, but with this item I am using the volume control on my amp for the front speakers and the volume on this device to control the volume on the rear speakers. So yes, I can set one set of speakers at a different volume that the other. Again, if I am understanding your question correctly.

Answer:	Yes as far as I can tell. Aka-when I only have on speaker on and flip the switch to turn another group on, the volume drops. It’s not necessarily half the volume though.

Answer:	My Pioneer Elite (Model VSX53 if you want to double check the specs) is rated at 110 w/channel and this splitter works just fine. I've had no issues.

Answer:	In theory you can. Use the speaker select switches to hook up the amplifier speaker outputs. Hook the one set of speakers you wish to share to the connector labled amplifier input. But be warned DO NOT select both amps at once. If you are lucky, you will blow the speaker fuse, if it’s got one. At worst you will trip the amp protection circuit or blow an internal fuse.
Question:	can you run all 4-channels at the same time
Answer:	I could not get the darn thing to work at all. I bought a NEW Denon 5+1 receiver and had extra cables to outiside deck speakers (should have gotten 7+1) that could not hook up as I had four surround plus sub and center channel in LR. Thought this would allow me to get the outside speakers working like a splitter that I could turn on and off. Was wrong or either not using correctly but does not very complex. I pushed every single combination of buttons and never got any sound to go through outside OR inside.

Question:	I want to use this on two sets of speakers, one set for front height & second set for side surrounds and switch between the two. Is it possible
Answer:	I have speakers throughout my house. The Pyle Six-zone box allows me to have music in most every room. Hook each speaker you have to the Pyle and hook the Pyle to your receiver, speaker A or B. I have mine on B. Connect your receiver audio to your TV audio. There is a separate button on the Pyle that you should always keep positioned to on (button in). That is the easiest I can make it for you. This box works perfect for me and has never shut off. Question:	Does this switch allow me to control sets of speakers independently
Answer:	I am running an older Technics amp 2x100 6 pairs of speakers at times so I would say yes. Just remember you are putting this amp to a lot of work if you're running 6 pairs of speakers so watch the temps on the amp.
Question:	One person indicated what they believed the protection button was. Does anybody know? Pyle technical support apparently doesn't exist
Answer:	Maybe. The more speakers that you connect the lower their effective impedance as seen by the amplifier. And the lower the effective impedance the higher the current that the amplifier must generate in order to drive the speakers to a specific listening level without distortion.Most speakers, particularly the less costly ones, have a nominal 8 ohm impedance. So if you are driving one set of such speakers the amplifier will be seeing an 8 ohm load. But if your amplifier is driving 2 sets of such speakers the amplifier will be seeing 1/(1/8 + 1/8) = a 4 ohm load; if your amplifier is driving 3 sets of such speakers the amplifier will be seeing a 1/(1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8) = 2.7 ohm load, etc. With 6 speakers your amplifier will be seeing a 1.3 ohm load. And this would be a nominal and typically maximum load; in practice the load fluctuates depending on frequency and is effectively lower for short periods of time.Some amplifiers are designed to drive such low loads but many are not. If you try to do that with such a low current amplifier for a long period of time you will burn up the amplifier. That is why speaker selectors like this one have a protection button which basically adds a resistance in series with the speakers in order to increase the impedance seen by the amplifier. This will reduce the overall efficiency and you will notice that you have to increase the volume to get the same amount of sound as with the protection button off.So, if your amplifier has a sufficient current capability to drive those 6 speakers to your desired listening levels, great. If it doesn't, and if the listening level is too low for your tastes with the protection button on, you will need to either settle for lower volume or get a more powerful amplifier.

Answer:	This is not an amp. It takes an output to speakers and can run different sets of speakers. If you do not have enough power in your receiver to run the speakers it will not work. Each time you turn on a set of speakers it will drop the power by a percentage. Some receivers can not handle more then three sets.

Answer:	I do not recognize the Receiver you are referring to but the connections are very simple. The speaker wires that are driving your speakers will be shortened and then connected to the Pyle Home speaker selector. Then your speakers will be connected to the Pyle Home speaker selector to each of the different four zones that you have in your home/office/whatever. I am presently driving three pairs of speakers with one zone unused. I have had perfect performance.

Answer:	they never are clear about that. always stating 200 watts rms. My take: I'm running 80 watts min. per channel @ 8ohms using 3 pairs speakers rated 8ohms that handle 130 watts each, no problems. this switch uses internal wiring configurations NO ON-OFF switch just speaker in or out select. REQUIRES 8 Ohm SPEAKERS TO WORK PROPERLY

Answer:	The short answer is no. You will be taking the high level output from your first amplifier to the low level input of your second amplifier. At the least this will result in distorted sound. At worst you will damage one or both amplifiers.

Answer:	This KVM supports use of a single external monitor and two computers. Nothing would stop you from using the screens on each of the two connected computers in addition to the external monitor. Answer:	Not sure that I understand your question. This will provide protection for wattage more than 100 watts RMS, with peaks up to 200 watts. If you have a low wattage amplifier and the amplifier distorts due to being overdriven, the speakers are at risk of damage.
Question:	I just hooked mine up and why is it that my amp keeps shutting off with a speaker error
Answer:	This speaker selector is 'Impedance Correcting' so whether you are connecting only one speaker in the pair, say the Left Speaker, or both speakers in the pair, the impedance will not be affected. Impedance affects each channel, not pair. In other words, only the Left Speakers will affect the impedance for the Left Channel, regardless whether the Right Speaker is hooked up or not, but with this Speaker Selector and its 'Impedance Correction', it will adjust the impedance to stay above 4 ohms.

Answer:	I did mine with banana plugs. It's the easyest way to do. I got mine from amazon and they are way cheaper then Best Buy. I have a surround sound system with another b option. I used that. If you have a regular receiver then use all your main speakers as A or B or both depending on your receiver. If you have a option c speaker that is what you use. If you only have A & B then you main speakers will be A. Then take Speaker B and connect it to the main speaker Selector. From there you can start using speakers from other areas and plug them in. Note the speaker wires from other rooms like m.ine should be from the attic inside the wall behind the receiver, or what makes your rooms easy for you. Answer:	I have Windows, but I do not see why it would not support Ubuntu. Linux is actually a pretty well known OS and the product page does say it can support multiple Operating Systems. I am sorry I could not be more definitive.

Answer:	Or you can get a vga to dvi converter. I actually had to go from HDMI down to DVI with a converter. But it works either way you go. You will just have the capability of the lowest piece of the conversion. Displayport, HDMI, DVI, VGA is the progression of performance top to bottom. You could always get a video card for the PC with 2 DVI ports. I did that once on another KVM switch on a different setup.
