User questions & answers
Question: | am about 20 to 25 ft short/ Can I attached another 25 ft cable to get it to the Box on the set. ? Thanks |
Answer: | The speakon end will fit a standard speakon connection. If the Europower EPQ2000 amp has standard speakon connectors (as it APPEARS from the photo on Amazon) you should not have any problems. Full disclosure: I do not have an EPQ2000, and have not looked at the manual. |

Answer: | Possibly if u hv adapters |
Question: | Will this work for a regular tv entena on our roof to our tv for free television |
Answer: | This depends on your use. The 12" units work well indoors and out but the 15" can handle a much larger area and are definitely a whole lot louder. |

User questions & answers
Question: | can I replace my rg-6 cable with rg-11 to run from the comcast box outside the house into the attic down the wall to my cable modem |
Answer: | Yes, that is pretty much what I did. I bought two lengths of 75 ft of terminated RG11 (because I have two incoming lines to my Comcast box). I ran the two new RG11s through crawl space and conduit to my utility space and connected one to my cable modem and the other to my Internal RG6 feed line to TV box. If I had only one incoming line to my Comcast box, I would have OK with doing all of the above with a single RG11 - because of the heavier duty (14 gage copper) capacity than RG6. |
Question: | Question for the seller: Is this rated for direct burial |
Answer: | Yes, you can bury the cable. The pvc cable is rated for indoor or outdoors. |
Question: | Do you make a quad shield RG |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | Is the copper conductor solid or stranded |
Answer: | I have found other information explaining that copper-clad steel is perfectly fine for RF transmission (since RF travels on the outside of the wire) but solid-copper is ideal if the cable is also to carry electricity, which is necessary for some providers (e.g., DirectTV). |
- Includes: 1 Black 25 ft coaxial Cable with f-pin connectors & US manufacturers warranty for quality assurance
- Stay Connected: Connects devices such as TVs, VCRs, DVD players, Satellite receivers, CATV accessories, digital Cable modem box, off-air antenna, HD antenna for TV and other F-type devices

User questions & answers
Question: | Can this be buried in the ground |
Answer: | It's just one tweeter |
Question: | Is the center conductor solid copper, or coated copper? Most people can't tell, but copper will bend much easier. Thank you |
Answer: | This cable is used to "change" the connection type. This answer assumes you don't have anything too exotic. If your speakers have both speakon and 1/4" connectors you can, most likely, use a "regular" cable. If your amp is stereo, you'll need one cable per channel (assuming one speaker per channel). If your amp is speakon, then use a speakon to speakon cable from the amp to the speaker(s).If your amp is 1/4" then you'll use a 1/4" to 1/4" cable from the amp to the speaker(s).If your amp is mono, you'll need one cable to go from the amp to the speaker and another cable to go from the first speaker to the second speaker.Typically, you just need to match the connectors.Again, this cable is used to change the connection type from speakon to 1/4" or vice versa. |
Question: | Need to change location of modem can I use with high speed/ broadband internet? Running about 60 foot of cable |
Answer: | Hi..I just saw your question, and I bet you already know the answer..but just in case...NO..the Pyle Pro cable (showing) has a Speakon connection at on end and a 1/4 Phono Connector at the other end. I looked up your amp, and your connections don't use either one of the connections on the Pyle cable.I'm not sure what type of speakers you have, but the Amp speaker Out-Put section will attach to a banana plug for easy on/off connections.Again, not knowing what type of connections you have on your speakers, you might think about a banana at one end and bare wire at the other end for your speakers..OR.. if you have the type of connections on your speakers as you have on this Amp..you can purchase a connection with banana plugs at both ends. You probably want a 14 to 16 AWG speaker wire. (I like 14 better) I believe Amazon has various banana ended cable connections..Something else to consider..you can make the banana ended connection, fairly easy, Amazon sells the banana ends as well..PS..14 AWG is a nicer cable to use...Good LuckMave |
Question: | Dual, Tri or Quad shield |
Answer: | This will work with any powered mixer or amplifier that uses a 1/4" phone plug to a Speakon connector. I have a Behringer Powered amp with Speakon outputs and into Peavey 15" speakers. Everything sounds, looks and work amazing. |

Answer: | This can be buried; however, it's life expectancy drops. We offer a coaxial that is specifically designed for burial - it is Orange. You can search Amazon for "THE CIMPLE CO burial coaxial" |
Question: | What type of connectors does it use? Is there an adapter to go from these to an N-type connector |
Answer: | These are F81 Coaxial Connectors, and yes - we do offer a 'Female F81 to Male N' adapter. If you search Amazon for 'F to N adapter' you will find the results. |
Question: | is this dual or quad shielded, i don't see it mentioned |
Answer: | The product that was shipped to me was PVRG6BLK - According to the manufacturers specifications this is a Dual shield cable, not a Tri shield. I returned the item since I preferred Quad shield, but would have accepted the Tri shield that the seller claimed. |

Question: | I suppose there are just right for connecting analog audio from a preamp to home theater amp |
Answer: | I'm not sure if it's recommended for exterior or if it matters. We use oy inside for great free TV |
Question: | Does this cable work well for a cd player with digital coax output to amp input |
Answer: | I am not sure. I know that this coax impedance/shielding is designed to work with cell phone extenders/ amplifiers. Not sure about an over the air TV antenna. The antenna instructions should say. |
Question: | Can this be used in wall installation |
Answer: | Looks like regular size to me. If it’s smaller it isn’t by much. |
Question: | I heard the lower the impendance is best for subs. Any thoughts on this since its rated at 22 pF per foot capacitance which is better than many |
Answer: | I'm not sure what you mean. But I'll tell you this I did hook them uo 2 ways I had a low wat amp and I sw t as low as it will go and hooked them up to that separate from my subs . And I set up a different set directly to the regular speakers I had 6.5 inch mids. I spliced into the wires. So not sure of your level of installation with car audio but I'm pretty advanced I do all my set ups and my friends but I am not s professional. |

When you Just Need it to WORK
Coax is deceptively simple! In reality the tolerances and purity of the Conductor, Dielectric, and Shield are critical in making a cable last.
MPD Digital cables are Warrantied for 10 years for simple reason. They Work and Last! Indoor, Outdoor, and Specialty Applications are all supported. We can work to spec drawings and requirements.
When Communication is Critical
The right cable and manufacturing techniques are Critical when you expect a communications cable to function at 100% of it's Rated Capacity.
MPD Digital Cables are the choice for critical communications. Current customers include the US Coast Guard, NOAA, NASA, Police and Fire Departments and the US Army and Marine Corps.
When you Need to Make Contact

We have cable assemblies and jumpers that will assure the lowest signal loss at 5 Watts and others that will support power levels up to 20 Kw.
When you need to Comunicate from Off-Grid
Cable assemblies designed for Maximum Signal, Direct Exposure and Portability are a specialty. Cables are built Tough to handle abrasion and the strain of frequent movement.
MPD Digital manufactures cables for Outdoor, Marine, and portable use. Jumpers and Antenna cables are available for All types of remote communication needs.
The MPD Digital Brand - Albany GA
A small business supplying RF communications solutions to Commercial and Government customers. Kimberly Distribution dba MPD Digital also manufactures thousands of cable assemblies for Amazon.com each month. Sometimes you really Need our Times LMR Cable Assemblies
Using a RG-58 jumper for a 5 GHz WiFi Antenna will reduce your signal by around 1 DB per Foot. RG-8x is a bit better and RG-213 is specified for some very short runs by a few manufacturers but Times Microwave LMR cables were designed for high frequency communication and will work best.
For GPS, Cellular or SatPhone Services
RG cable was designed for use at UHF and lower frequencies. Using an RG- jumper of any type on a Satellite Phone or GPS Antenna is like mounting bicycle tires on a sports car. RG cables fair little better for Cell Antennas. Cellular phones lowest broadcast signal is twice as high as RG coax is rated and ranges up to 4 times the specified frequency ratings.

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this work with 1000 mbps Comcast xfinity modem |
Answer: | The center conductor of these coaxial cables is solid copper. We do offer a Copper-Clad Steel version, if you would prefer; however, this version is Solid Copper. |
Question: | are the connectors brass or nickel-plated |
Answer: | Yes, absolutely. This coaxial cable is designed to handle both types of signals in the Cable Internet (CMTS) system. |
Question: | will this cable work for my vcr? all old school. thank you |
Answer: | It is dual shied; however, the cable has exceptional shielding properties. The ingress and egress mirrors that of similarly tested quad shield RG6 coax. |
Question: | I have Spectrum internet and i just need the wire to be longer so i can move my table around. Will this work for me |
Answer: | You can buy connectors on-line and WalMart often stocks similar items. However, keep in mind your signal degrades over distance. There even is loss at 25'. You may need a signal booster that typically connects at the cable plate in your wall. |

Modern high-bandwidth digital applications, such as satellite antennas, digital cable, and cable internet, demand better impedance stability and lower return loss from 75 ohm video coaxial cable than ever before; the consequence of poor impedance tolerance or high return loss can be loss of connection speed (internet), macroblocking from data loss (digital cable), or greater susceptibility to rain fade (satellite).
The Solution:
The Blue Jeans Cable RG-6 coaxial cable is sweep-tested to 4.5 GHz, beyond the bandwidth requirements of even the most demanding digital applications, and offers the best impedance stability and return loss performance in the industry; we use the best Belden broadcast-quality raw cable, and Canare F-connectors with a gold-plated pin for corrosion-free contact and a heavy machined brass body for stable and secure engagement. This cable is rated CMR (higher than CL2/CL3) for installation in walls and risers.
The Manufacturer:
Blue Jeans Cable is a Belden Certified Assembler, and we assemble these cables in our Seattle shop using the best Schleuniger precision stripping and crimping equipment.
- Assembled in USA from USA-manufactured coaxial cable and imported connectors

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this compatable for CB application besides Ham |
Answer: | It will work perfect for CB transmission and receiving :) |
Question: | Is this coax buriable? Do you sell it in lengths of over 100 feet? (We need 200 feet |
Answer: | Hi, As MPD Digital we are the only Manufacturer of this cable and We sell lengths as long as you need cut to the foot - with or without connectors :) The cable jacket is rated for Direct Bury with an average life of 20 years. Please note that this not a flooded cable. Flooded coax has an extra layer of gooey paste inside that can sometimes act to seal a cut in the coax jacket. As long as you don't cut this coax jacket with a shovel etc. you are good to go. |
