Answer:	The antenna picks up signals from the airways and feeds them into the TV via the coaxial cable. It doesn’t need other power.. The booster needs power and can be plugged into the wall or the USB on the back of the TV. I used the USB port and it works great.

Answer:	To get digital channels (which are about all you can get nowadays), you will need a digital converter box with your old tv. You plug this into the digital converter box, and the converter box into your tv. If by some chance a station is broadcasting in analog near your house, you could get those stations in without a converter box. Currently, there are no analog stations where I live as it is costly for a station to broadcast both analog and digital.

Answer:	It seems to me that any antenna that can rotate will have a wider field of reception. The towers I need are not located on the same mountain, so I point mine in between.

Answer:	I had to add 25 feet to the provided cable I put an amplifier in the line. a RG6 cable can be run apx 1000 feet while a cat 5e is only good for 300 feet.

Connecting More Than One Television

There are 2 ways you can setup your HD-2805 for use with multiple TVs depending on how much coax cable you need and if you have the LAVA Splitter.

1. You can only use a maximum of 50 ft of RG6 coax cable from the Antenna to the Control Box and up to 50 ft of coax from the control box to each TV as needed if you connect your splitter directly after the control box.
2. If you have the LAVA HDS12 Splitter, you can put it between the antenna and control box as shown above using a total of 50 ft or less of RG59 coax cable from the antenna, through the splitter, to the control box.

Run The Auto-Scan or Auto-Program in your TV menu FIRST thing after install

What do I do when I see a “NO SIGNAL” message on one or more channels? Go over the setup instructions again. Make sure the antenna is powering on, it is pointed in the right direction, and you run the Channel Search on your TV in the menu after you install and connect the antenna. If you are unsure how to run the scan, refer to your TV instruction manual.

Answer:	You can try it, but the two antennas with the power amplifiers may interfere with each other. Personally, I would try just one and position it in between the two transmitters. That should work well, especially if it's up at 40 foot. Good luck.
