Answer:	You must ensure that the location you scan the channels in is where it is going to be located, can't move it after unless you re=scan for channels again. Also sometimes after a storm I have to rescan.

The information I received for my zip code indicated I had good frequency and could access over 50 channels. I received maybe five to ten strong channels and the others were digital scrambles.

Answer:	Hi, This unit only has 35 mile range.

Answer:	The antenna is amplified, so it needs to be plugged in. The rotor box is necessary because it supplies the power to the amplifier. even if you will not be rotating the antenna, you still have to use the complete assembly, including the rotator box. I have found that the antenna works reasonably well for distances up to about 30 miles. It is only effective for UHF signals. It is much less effective for high band VHF and useless for low band VHF. This is simply a factor of compact design and affects all of these antennas. But it's not bad for UHF, which most stations are these days.
Question:	What does the gain knob do and what lights up the two lights? No mention of amplifier
Answer:	The batteries are AA. Did you already buy this? If you haven't, don't waste your money.The aluminum is only about 2 steps up from aluminum foil! It is very cheap and doesn't hold up to outside conditions.The rotor never even worked and the wire is so cheap if you bend it the antenna will not work!A coat hanger with a wire would work better than this antenna!

Answer:	Yes you can, but you should get a pre-amp booster, I got this one RCA TVPRAMP1R Preamplifier for Outdoor Antenna Performance Enhancement & Extension (use with ANT3038XR & ANT3036XR), Black. Helps with the signal loss. A must with two TV's. You will need a splitter. It is a single line out.

Answer:	The amplifier usually doesn't help reception. What it does is boost the available signal from the antenna to the receiving TV/outlets. I have a splitter with 8 drops from the indoor antenna (NOT this one...mine is an older DB2 model but it is likely it would work the same...providing a signal to many distant rooms) to the rooms in a 3000+ sq ft house. The antenna (in 2nd floor bedroom) is about 20 ft from the splitter input port (basement). From the splitter the lines go as far as 50'or more. The amplified signal provides rooms the over 30 channels (counting sub/side channels) that we get. Our house is on relatively high land with pretty good view of the broadcast towers. Works very well. Love it. Add things like Roku and Amazon Prime plus anything else you want to pay for...we don't have any more.
Question:	will it work with a splitter for two tvs

Question:	I plugged into my tvs and nothing happened? I have a toshiba and samsung HDTV. What am I doing wrong
Answer:	Mine is hooked up to LG HDTV. Not where I can look right now, but look at the instructions. Do you need an HDMI cord? I am really not good with this stuff. Know I didn't need anything extra. Just connected directly into my tv, but think instructions did mention a HDMI connection. If your instructions don't work, you might just google how to connect a indoor antenna to your Toshiba and again to your samsung HDTV. Good luck. I am totally inept at this stuff, so have every belief you can do it too!

Answer:	The antennas are inexpensive but work very well (see review). What I did was hook two antennas to each TV. I position one antenna north/south, the other east/west. Much better reception & you receive more channels (& they don't "drop out" very often. Here's what you do:1) purchase two attennas for each TV2) purchase the Channel Plus 2512 DC & IR Passing 2 Way Splitter/Combiner for each TV3) purchase the Monoprice 3ft. RG6 Coaxial Cable for each TV. Both of the above are sold @ Amazon.

Answer:	There is no such thing as a "digital antenna" - the terminology is just a marketing term. All digital signals are transmitted over the air on the UHF frequency band, which is the same band that the old analog channels 14 through 68 used to be transmitted on. So to pick up a digital signal all you really need is a UHF antenna, which is the smaller rectangular loop in this antenna. With this antenna, I am able to pick up over 100 digital channels at my house.

Some of those stations play older tv shows, older movies and I think 1 is Animal Planet. It just depends on the direction that you face the antenna.
