Answer:	The wire is a thin grade of coaxial line. It is supposed to be RG6 grade but we bought a heavier grade of coax with thicker cable.
Question:	how long can the cable be
Answer:	I believe it is grounded when you use their post but that you would have to check with the mfg. I haven't had any problems.
