    Answer: The way I assembled my saw with a 2 inch slope from front to back, the front of the table is 39 1/2 inches from the floor. The back of the table is about 41 inches from the floor. This allows the chips to slide to towards the front with vibration and make it easier to bend over when using the saw in a sitting position which I find most helpful for the smaller delicate parts I make.
