Answer:	I would say yes but might be a little big. I order a pair for both my 6 and 9 year old last year. I ordered them the same size as their shoes. A year later they need larger size tennis shoes but can still wear these. If you order them a size larger I'd suggest thick socks, though you'll easily get 2-3 years of use out of them. These really are quality rain boots. When my girls out grow them I'll defiantly be ordering another pair.

Answer:	The foot is waterproof to the white line. The upper is only water repellant and will not stay dry in very wet circumstances. In fact, if the upper gets wet you will have very soggy feet and then soon very cold feet. If you need protection from WATER/HEAVY RAIN, these boots are not the answer! Stylish for cold and suitable for snow that is pretty dry.
