Answer:	It’s very flimsy. it slipped down and created a bulge under my bra. But I think I got the wrong size. So I gave it to my daughter who is bigger than me and she loved it. Will work well under jeans. Don’t wear underwear.

Answer:	For your inches, I'd go small or x-small depending on how dramatic of a change you want. If you're 5'5, I'd consider trying a corset with a longer torso. This one is designed very short, and it was just barely the right length for me and I'm only 5'0 tall. I wouldn't get a "long torso", just a more normal length one.
