Answer:	Mine has a PGP brand zipper. Looked it up and it's a Chinese brand, no surprise there. It seems well made and looks like brass but I don't know for sure if it is. I bought my jacket in August 2015 and have had no problems with the zipper.

I had this but got a Sun Valley down coat from Eddie Bauer off Amazon mind you, and it was great in Boston last December. It's a much thicker coat. I love the Tommy Hilfiger most of the time but it's much lighter weight. It's a great coat! Hope this helps.
