Answer:	Best to ask the seller. If he/she is reputable...then they should be selling a genuine item or advise you if it's a copy. I checked the model codes etc...that are stamped on the inside of the side arms.

Answer:	I would not consider purchasing this item, or any other from Designer Eyeware. I asked them the same question and they were very vague and it took multiple rounds for them to finally answer the question. I knew far more about the frames then they did (I always do my homework). They would not confirm via email that they were authentic Persol glasses. Several attempt to pin them down on the matter yielded answers to other portions of the email, but no direct answers about the authenticity of the frames. Once received, they frames didn't look right. They appeared to be used and or manufacturer seconds. Shortly after I received the frames, my sister went into the hospital and passed away shortly after the 30 day time frame for returns expired. I emailed them asking for a return authorization and they denied it, even though I informed them of the medical issues going on with my family. So, let me recap, if you are considering purchasing this item through Designer Eyeware, don't! They are not knowledgeable about what they are selling; the frames appear to be legit Persols with authentic looking paperwork but they appear to be used and/or blems/seconds; if you have any issues with the sunglasses you are on your own. Even a family emergency and a sibling dying only yields a response of "its beyond the 30 day return period" even if its only a couple days over. I hope that helps. DON'T PURCHASE FROM DESIGNER EYEWEAR!!!!!
