Answer:	The bra in general is rather stiff and doesn't change after a few washes. The lower end of the front closure shouldn't bother someone who is fairly lean around the middle, it but might well jab a larger person. Washing hasn't softened or relaxed any parts of the bra so far for me. My problem was the lack of adjustment of the band and the stiffness of the armpit and lower band edges. After a number of washings and wearings, I still find the bra to be rather uncomfortable.

Answer:	My recommendation is to search for a how to on measuring bra size. I found an excellent one at Victoria Secret. I don't know if you're measurements are correct in that they were measured where they are supposed to be. I discovered I was doing one of them incorrectly. Once you have the two measurements you subtract one from the other to get the cup size. The chart will also explain what to do if you are an off size (odd number) and what to look for to know whether you need to go up in bra size or bra cup. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Step 1 - Your Band Size

Using a measuring tape, take a snug measurement around the rib cage, directly under the bust. Take the tape and keep it parallel to the floor. Round the measurement to the nearest whole inch, either up or down.

If the measurement is even, add 4 inches.

If the measurement is an odd number, add 5 inches to determine the band size. Example: Band = 32 inch + 4 inch = 36 inch.

Step 2 - Your Cup Size

Keep arms relaxed at your sides. Using a measuring tape, measure around the fullest part of the bust (do not stretch tape tightly and keep it straight). Round the measurement to the nearest whole inch, either up or down.

The difference between this measurement and the band size will determine the cup size. i.e. Bust size 39 inch – Band size 36 inch = 3 inch (Cup size C).

Step 3 - Your Waist

To ensure the correct fit, take the measurement of your waist (as pictured) and compare it to the ‘Underband Sizing’ table below.

The underband is the elastic at the very bottom of the longline. When relaxed, it is the most narrow point of the bra's construction.

Some longline styles offer ‘Stretch Sides’ that are more forgiving between the bust and the underband. Others offer a more snug fit. Be sure to take your preference into account.

Answer:	The clasp is plastic, but not the ordinary cheap hinge clasp. It is a thicker, higher quality barrel clasp. You slide the barrel in at the top until it is all the way down and than click it closed. It is double reinforced. I am a D cup. ..and feel very secure.

Answer:	I'm regularly a 40 or 42C but have been struggling with trying different bras and decided to try a B cup - Sounds silly, but if everything Amazon says on the website is true, this should have given me some extra cup support. These are literally, not figuratively squared off at the nipple and are not at all in any way stretchy. The B is huge and the fabric shows thru everything. Answer:	I love this bra. I have always had playtex posture bras without much relief. I bought this because it said magic lift and it was a front closure which I need due to back problems. I think I will order one size smaller next time because it does have some stretch after several uses. The straps are very nice and don't dig in. The inside of the cup has another layer to help lift the breast which is what I love.

The easiest way to find your bra size right from your bedroom. Put on an unpadded bra, grab your tape measure and let's find your bust and band sizes!

Band Riding Up. If your brand doesn't sit just below your shoulder blades, try tightening the band or losening the straps. If that doesn't help, you need a smaller band.

Band Digging In. If your band is digging into your ribs, chest or back, try loosening the band. If that doesn't fix it, you need to go up a band size or try a wider band.

Straps Digging In. If your straps are digging in, try loosening them or switching to a bra with padded straps. If that doesn't help, your band – which should be doing most of the support work – is too big and it's time to downsize.

Slipping Straps. If your straps are sliding around or off the shoulders, they might be stretched out (which happens over time). Or you might be in the wrong cup size causing the straps to sit too wide and slip more easily.

Bulging Sides. If you're squeezing out the sides, your band is too small and confining your bust. Go up a band size or try a bra with more cup coverage.

Overflowing Cups. If you're spilling out the side, top or bottom of your cups, it's time to trade up. Bigger cups will help keep your bust securely (and comfortably) contained.

Gapping Cups. If your cups are gaping a lot or a little, try a smaller cup size so they sit flush with your skin.

Dropping Bustline. If your bustline is pulling down, shorten your straps (but not so much they dig) and check your cups (there shouldn't be any gap if they're the right size). If you want even more lift, look to non-stretchy bras with firmer support and rigid straps.

Poking Underwires. If your wire pokes, you might be in the wrong cup size. Too small can make the underwire too tight while too big can cause the wire to move around. Both lead to uncomfortable poking or prodding.
