Answer:	They stretch easily because they are made from a very flexible, breathable cloth. There is no velcro, the string is stretchy with a 'lace keeper' that holds the stretchy string in place when you let go. You need to be careful not to pull it too tight because it may be uncomfortable for your child. Our boy can easily put them on, and has used them for a few months now. I'm not sure if the string will lose it's stretch over time.

Answer:	In my opinion they are just right... not too narrow (I consider too narrow something like Chucks) and not too wide, although you do have to squeeze your foot into the narrow hole but it's a little stretchy in that area and once my feet are in they fit perfect. I prefer them over Nike Metcons.

Answer:	I do think that Under Armour runs just a tad bit small/short. I am probably a perfect 10 and my other pair of UA were a ten and when I wear them for several hours my big toe starts to hurt a bit from hitting the front toe part of the shoe. It is a more structures shoe also, not a sock type. That being said, even though I'm not technically a size Wide I have a wider foot (not petite or narrow) so I did upsize my to the 10.5 in this particular shoe since they offered it and it was perfect. If you have narrow feet you may be able to get by with your normal size. But for me, some tennis shoes just run a little short including this one. (sketchers do also on me) I do love the pattern and they seem well made.
