Answer:	It's a pretty simple tester, so you shouldn't need a video. BNC is a connector type that runs over RG-59 cable which consists of a RG6 cable paired with a 2 power cable. The unit itself has a power feed which works with some cameras, but not all. Most of the time you will never need to test power. It's pretty hard to mess up the power feed to a camera, it's usually the BNC crimping which can gives people trouble and hence, the tester is necessary. It's a great tool to check the video feed and camera angle without having to run back and check the feed at the NVR.
