Question:	Is this shoe suede
Answer:	No. Looks like it, but the shoe I received was a dark gray leather. Didn't look like picture and didn't like the look or feel of the shoe, so I returned it.
Question:	Why does the leather turn dark where it gets wet
Answer:	Eddie, leather is alive and it breathes. Which means that water or perspiration can pass through it and eventually after about eight hours of break in time it will conform to your foot. That is the advantage of leather footwear over synthetics however it does get darker when it’s wet and eventually as it dries will lighten back up. Think of it like a baseball glove, the more you wear it ,the more you will enjoy it.
