Answer:	I have the bk32 and the bk40. The bk40 comes with a removable insole that actually does provide a small amount of heal lift. Myself, I removed that insole because it made the shoes feel a bit tight. I have only had them for a couple of days so we will see if they stretch any. The bk40 also has more aggressive tread, analogous to an all-terrain versus a street tire... They definitely provide a little less "ground feel" than the bk32, but I find I prefer them for everyday use anyway, as I am not a runner, just someone who wore shoes as little as possible growing up and didn't cram my feet into that horrible bunion shape so many seem to have ...

Answer:	I always wear a 9.5 in womens---ordered the men's 8 (why aren't there women's versions??!) and it fits but is a bit loose. I had to really tie the laces just right to get it to fit around the heel, and I do not have narrow feet....pretty standard I would say. Typically with men's to women's conversion, you order 1.5 sizes smaller (at least that's what I've always done and been told). :-)

My only complaint with it is that sometimes his pee runs down around the edges and I have to use a disinfectant wipe on it daily, but that shouldn't be a problem for a girl. There are no handles on it though so you will want to make sure she has something to hold onto when she climbs up on the step stool and has to turn around.

Answer:	I have very flat feet, but also underpronate. Being flat-footed, anytime I would go get fit for running shoes, I would always be recommended expensive stability shoes. I'm also heavy-set and have had foot/knee/joint pain since I was a little kid. As a kid I was prescribed orthopedic shoes with form-fitted arch supports, so stability shoes seemed like the natural grownup version. Being that maybe my feet are anatomically flat , that extra arch support would always be painful at some point when jogging, usually once I got warmed up at around 1/2-3/4 mile. I always thought I just had to run through this, and it was a fact of life... I finally came across these shoes. They were recommended on some site I found as a budget friendly option. I figured since they were so cheap, even if I hated them, they were literally one-quarter the price of the last fancy pair of running shoes I had bought. Lo and behold, these were the ideal shoes for me. They're simple, but light, have a reasonable amount of support, and provide for a nice, even ground strike. I don't know how they would fit if you have high arches, and probably wouldn't be good for collapsed arches either. All I know is, I did a 10k and didn't realize until I was done that I experienced no foot or joint pain the entire time. note: I've never gone for a jog for more than a quarter mile and not experienced some sort of foot, knee or shin pain.

Answer:	On your longest toe *usually big toe or middle* it should have at most the slightest bit of play. If you're like me. one will be snug and the other a little looser. That's because a lot of people's feet are different sizes. If one of them is snug then that's the right size. I wear 11.5 and got the 45.

Answer:	They are comfortable shoes. I use them for nursing so being on my feet all day for a 12hr. shift, comfort is a NECESSITY! Didn't like the way it was shipped - no paper, no filler in the shoes, just box and the shoes. Made me feel as if they took them from someone else and just shipped them to me. I had arrangements to send them back, but I needed to wear them the next day. The next time I'll be more careful where I purchase them at.
