Plug It In

The MultiMix 4 USB FX mixer has four input channels, all of which can accept a 1/4inches line input. You can plug XLR microphones into channels one and two, including condensers thanks to the selectable 48V phantom power supply. You can also plug a guitar or bass directly into channel two's switchable high impedance DI input. A stereo, 1/4inches headphone output has its own level control for private monitoring.

Answer:	Think of it like a concert, Main Out is the speakers the crowd would hear. Monitor Out is the speakers turned backwards that the musicians hear. Headphone Out is what the producer behind the mixer listens to. And yes, you can control the volume on all three of those outputs independently from each other.

Answer:	Evening... I downsized from the Multimix 4 to a two-channel mixer, basically used for my audio book recordings. If memory serves me correctly, this does offer 2 track in/out via the bus (stereo, of course). Question:	How is the 18i20 3rd generation different from the 2nd generation model? What do these changes improve on? Why were these changes necessary
Answer:	The biggest change is in the headroom. These preamps and converters are cleaner and offer more gain than the 2nd gen. These pres also come equipped with the "Air" mode which adds some high end to model the ISA preamp circuit. The 3rd gen 18i20 also has 16 ADAT I/O channels as opposed to the 2nd gen's 8 channels of ADAT. Answer:	Hi, There have been several improvements made to the 3rd generation range of interfaces. Firstly, all of the inputs on the 18i20 3rd gen feature Air mode, emulating the classic sound of our original transformer-based ISA preamps. Secondly, the 18i20 3rd gen now has the ability to switch between Main and Alternative speakers connected to it using a front panel button. Thirdly, we have added a built-in Talkback function (allowing the engineer to talk directly to the performer), a Loopback function (allowing audio from one application to be recorded into another without connecting cables), Dual ADAT ports for recording 16 channels of audio into the DAW at 96kHz, optical S/PDIF and removable rack ears. Lastly, the specifications of the preamps and conversion have been improved even further - for example, the dynamic range has been increased to 111dB and the gain range is now 56dB instead of 50dB on the 2nd generation. Question:	Does the L12 work with Cubase 10 recording on a 21 inch Mac
Answer:	This is a sound interface. All you need is sound drivers. There is no supplemental software.
Question:	Can the L-12 record a live stereo mix, or only multitrack
Answer:	What you can't do is record the next track at 24-bit/96kHz. That is you can record up to 12 tracks all at once at 24-bit/96kHz but then if you wanted to add another track to it while monitoring the first recording it has to be at 46kHz which is sub CD quality.
Question:	Can I save EQ’s and recall them from the save if they have been changed
Answer:	Yes! The EQ settings will be saved to your scene.
Question:	Are the faders motorized
Answer:	No the faders are not motorized. When you switch between fader modes and scenes, LEDs indicate what the fader settings were last set on in the mode/scene you switch to. You move the fader manually to the lit setting if you want it there or want to change it.

Question:	How does this record to pc? i see there is a usb cable but it's only for power
Answer:	Just bought my refurbished model, AMX-7333 and all mic channels work fine. I used a Thumb Drive to play some tracks and even connected my Android Phone via Bluetooth and played some saved Youtube tracks thru the headhpones. This will come in handy using this mixer with my JBL EON ONE powered array speaker at my bands gigs for break music.
Question:	Does this work to record a real time guitar track in protools, fl, ableton ? Does it work with windows 10? Do you have to use asio4all drivers

Question:	How does this connect to pc? i've asked this once already but i guess i'm not asking clearly. how does the audio get to the pc
Answer:	I have found the previous answer to be incorrect. This device DOES provide BOTH USB audio input and USB audio output on Windows 10. I am using it to capture 2 audio sources to input into my OSB software via the USB interface. Works flawlessly.
