The result fits me like a tent, but it has the advantage of coming down to my ankles and draping down almost over my hands. For lounging around home, I'm comfortable wrapping a tent around myself and being adequately covered, instead of having a better fit but maybe not quite enough material for ankles and wrists. But others may prefer the look and feel of a better fit. (Some numbers: Product page says S/M has 6" less height and 1" less sleeve length than 1XL/2XL (and the excess width of the XL size effectively (and clumsily) increases that sleeve length).)

Answer:	I'm 5' 11" , 1 85 lbs. and the largest size wasn't even close to fitting. Robes generally run large, but not UGG. Nice ROBE sorry they don't make one for Us big boys. I would go with the largest of I were you. Think that will be a good fit.
