Answer:	Moderate noise on high. I can say the noise has never been a factor. Dont even notice it too much,
Question:	Does this jacket have an inside pocket near the chest
Answer:	My understanding is that the fan needs to be plugged into a grounded wall outlet and not into an extension cord. Both the fan's cord and the wall outlet "trip" occasionally in bad weather or when we have a momentary blackout/brownout from summer heat and they have to be reset with the buttons on the fan plug and the wall outlet (like on a hairdrier cord.) If my fan plug had not fit I would have tried to remove the outlet cover (which closes by a spring.) If I had been unable to do that, I would have used a grounded wet rated outdoor cord with a surge protector. Ive had the fan about 2 years. Unfortunately I went out of town for ten days and when I got back, the fan had "tripped." I turned it on and after struggling for a minute, I smelled burning rubber so I unplugged it. I'm pretty sure it's dead or dangerous. Going to track down the warranty papers and see if the company will fix it under the 3 year warranty.

Answer:	The item you are asking about (# DBF0629) is a misting kit, which attaches to our outdoor fans. The misting kit will obviously not use any watts, as it just attaches to a standard garden hose. Our outdoor fans have a 53 watt motor.

Answer:	I’m 5’9” and small fits me perfectly like custom; I usually wear medium in all other sweaters/jackets except columbia as their medium falls 2-3 inches below waist which is not a good look

Answer:	This is my second time purchasing what I thought would be the same exact item. My zipper tab broke off, so I ordered a new one. The fleece material is thinner, not as full and comfy as it is noticeable when walking outside in cold wind. And that logo is a rectangular type patch instead of being etched.

Answer:	This particular one has nonlining like the one your son has; the ones with lining are Columbia jackets that are warmer for colder temps. This one although has no lung is very warm in temps 40-50 degrees.

Answer:	I think this depends on your preference for fit. I prefer a bit of looseness in my outer clothing. I normally wear a Large for shirts and sweaters, but with these I returned them for XL so I can wear them over other layers. I'm 5'9" and 177. If I were you I'd be doing the XXL.

Answer:	I wondered the same thing. Mine also has openings on the side of the interior pockets. I have used it to hold a phone charger and put the cable through the hole to attach to phone in holder. Other than that I could see no use for the holes

Answer:	It’s very soft and comfy. In really cold weather such as the single digit temperatures we are currently enduring, I use it as an added inner layer under a light weight winter jacket.

Answer:	Don't put fleece in dryer to prevent it from balling and piling. The hot dryer and also hot water ruins fleece. Hang dry fleece and then if it still needs to be softened put it in dryer for 5 minutes max. Use only half a dryer sheet because they leave a coating so using only half the sheet will make it less likely to coat fleece with the dryer sheet residue.
