Answer:	As long as you fix the bottom to a base. It will not be stable enough on its own. Its also metal, so would mark your floor too without a board under.
Question:	For those that have attached it to furniture, is the furniture on carpet? And how does it turn on the carpet
Answer:	I posted several pictures. We sandwiched the bearings between wood, and the wood sits on our large rug. The wood is also attached to the bottom of the recliner. This design works wonderfully, we are pleased with the result. I don't think we would have changed anything in this design.
Question:	how do i attached it to 2 pieces of wood
Answer:	Let's consider that the Lazy Susan has a top and bottom. I used the larger side as the bottom......it has the large holes. Use those holes to drill that size hole through one piece of wood. Now attach the Lazy Susan to "that" piece of wood using the small holes. (The disc bottom has both large holes and small holes. The top of the disc has only small holes.) Now to attach the "top" of the Lazy Susan to the other piece of wood, use the large holes you drilled through the bottom wood to locate the small holes in the top of the disc. Using a long screw driver (always drill pilot holes) and screws, attach the disc to the other piece of wood. In doing a recliner, I attached a piece of wood to the metal frame of the chair and the other was a round piece of plywood to form the base or support for the chair. I then found the center of the round plywood base, attached the bottom of the Lazy Susan to it (via small screws in the small holes) then drilled large hole through the plywood via the holes in the Lazy Susan, turned it over and using the large holes found the small ones in the "top" of the Lazy Susan and put in screws to hold the whole thing to the chair. It worked like a charm. And it will support a person and chair if that's what you are doing. RHF
Question:	Can I attach this with a piece of wood on top and add my recliner on top of the wood. Or can I sandwich it between two pieced of wood and put recline
Answer:	I used 3/8 inch plywood above and below the bearing (sandwiched) and attached the top to the recliner base and it works fine on a heavy recliner.

Answer:	If you secure the top it could work. The only concern would be tilting, if you have a lot of weight toward the edge and not centered it could possibly tilt.

Answer:	It is well constructed, with holes for screws to mount to base and under turntable. My own opinion is that for safety you should look for ceiling hardware made for a tv of the type and weight you need. Even flat screen tvs can be heavy and could fall on someone. This bearing probably not suitable for that purpose.

Question:	I need to make several 30" lazy susans for some corner cabinets.....will these work
Answer:	These are very sturdy and easy to work with. We used ours on an OT aid board which was 18" by 24" which kids would sit on and rotate. We have really liked ours and recommend them to anyone who needs a very sturdy device. You will need access to the ball bearing to apply a drop of oil every six months or so or else the can get a little noisy. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I don't see why it wouldn't work. It has been holding up just fine for our use and we have 300 lbs on it constantly

Question:	How big glass i can put on the top? for example can i use 40” glass top on 24” ring. in this case, is it ok to have about 8” overlap on the edge
Answer:	I am using mine on a 36” round wood top, so there is 6” hanging over the edge and i think thats fine. If your using glass, how thick? and you will see the bearing through the glass. If the glass is thin 1/4” I would say that is to much overhang. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I believe it would work well for that. I put mine under a glider rocker.
Question:	Can you screw something to the top of it as well as the bottom of it, or does what is on top just sit on it? Worried about a swivelchair sliding off
Answer:	I had to stop working on my project due to a fight with my drill press. As far as I got I am mounting this in between 2 pieces 24 X 27 inch 3/4 " plywood to place under the wife's recliner. I have screwed the outer ring onto one piece of plywood so it's now stationary and that will be the bottom that sits on the rug floor. The other piece of plywood will sit on top on the inner ring. To keep it from sliding anywhere I am placing 4 small pieces of wood onto the bottom of the top 24 X27 plywood so that will keep it from sliding off. I didn't think it was necessary to try to screw it to the ring as the 4 small pieces of wood will be permanently attached to the bottom of the top piece and will rotate with it. Actually in my design there is no way to permanently screw the ring to both pieces of wood. I hope this explains what I am doing to aid you in your project. My overall design will raise my wife's recliner about 2 3/8" above where it was sitting on the rug on the floor. If this works out ok I will be ordering another for my chair. Question:	Could I build a playground merry go round with this? Does it spin freely enough and would it seize up in the elements
Answer:	I would be careful. The one we purchased was being used on a hay bail wrapper that had a hydraulic drive. It was really "stiff" when we got it, (full of grease and one spot in the 360° did not turn as easy). Think you might do better with two bearing spaced about 2' apart on the center pole. Might have to have a thrust bearing on the lower one also. Good luck my friend!

Question:	will this unit work properly if installed upside down
Answer:	I don't think it matters which side is up. Mine is screwed to a board that is on top, but the bearing would work as well if it was inverted.
Question:	Could i mount this to a chair to make it swivel
Answer:	I ordered the largest one. The object on top just rests on it, they don't attach via screws or anything. That means that a chair will slide around on it (a wood tabletop rests on top of rubber bumpers on the top of the lazy susan).
Question:	Does it matter which side is pointing up? I'd like the inside ring to point down and stationary and the outside ring to rotate
Answer:	Shouldn't be a problem unless the bearings pick up more dust/particles.
Question:	Can this be used on a glass patio table with a circular piece of glass on top, are there feet on both sides
Answer:	Yes, there are little, white, soft plastic feet around the rings on both sides. You could even remove the plastic feet and add some kind of a cushion on both sides of the rings or even just glue on pieces of cushion onto the feet. Maybe try some pieces of stick-on felt or the softer part of stick-on Velcro. This ring is built very heavy duty with lots of bearings. You cannot spin it by hand and expect it to keep spinning around several times freely, like a roulette wheel.

Answer:	I didn't add any lubrication, its lubricated at the factory.

Answer:	There are feet on the bottom. Not sure if rubber but are on both sides.

Answer:	It's a bit noisy but it rotates smoothly. I have to say it does accommodate quite a lot of weight
Question:	Can you use this upside down? Glass table and wooden 36" disc
Answer:	You can use a 36" disc no problem but it has predrilled countersunk holes where you would mount it to your Lazy Susan. I wouldn't use it that way.

3.The turntable bearings are linked by steel beads, it may sound during rotation. Loading some weight on it will effectively reduce the sound.

Answer:	It depends on the weight of the item. The turntable can handle about 200lbs,so if its heavier than that, we'd recommend a heavier duty one. The actual turntables have anchoring holes which you can use to anchor the item to it. Hope this helps!

Answer:	I returned this lazy susan as it showed up bent in a number of places.
